He let out a low breath as she came up to him, knowing he was going to be in trouble. "He was by your place and then he went by Haylie's. He's toying with us, Gia and I had to be down there trying to help figure out what his next move is going to be." He stated softly, bringing his hand up to cup her cheek. He'd nearly had a heart attack when he heard that the man may have been near where Gia was. He knew he'd been harsh with her...maybe he should be saying all this outloud. "I know I was vague and a little harsh but I just wanted you somewhere secure where everything would be monitored and Bambi could keep an eye on you." The pups had their basic commands down now, sit, stay, lay, heel, retrieve, drop, that sort of thing but none of their advanced training and besides, he didn't want to make them grow up to fast. His thumb brushed under her eye gently, watching her. "Kyrian was flipping out, someone had to be able to keep a cool head so Rem wouldn't just be talking to himself." He cocked a brow as if to make sure she understood before he let out a low breath and leaned forward to press a kiss to her forehead. He had never given her the details of what happened to Shay, really. She knew that she had been seriously injured, that Chase had been there, but he never told her how sick and sadistic the man who was behind it all really was. He figured she had seen enough ugliness in her life and should be spared from the details. "I don't want him anywhere near you, Gia. I don't want him to know what you look like or what car you drive...that apartment has been compromised now."
