當局調查同性戀受質疑

　【本報訊】(記者　陳朗昇)民政事務局將委任三人小組，負責評估公眾對同性戀、雙性戀及跨性的接受程度，並檢討有關人士在社會受歧視情況。但有同性戀組織質疑調查和政府立法禁止歧視同性戀關係不大。

　民政事務局常任秘書長余志穩昨出席一論壇時表示，該局會先辦有關性傾向調查，幾個月後再辦對跨性的公眾意向調查。調查預計會訪問2,000名年齡介乎18-64歲的市民，評估公眾對同性戀及雙性戀的認知度、接受程度、有關不同性傾向人士的權利及在社會上受歧視程度。但有同性戀組織質疑調查對立法的重要性，性權會主席邵國華指社會上確實存在歧視同性戀者，該局應對歧視個案作出研究，是否立法視乎政府的政治勇氣。

　另外，民政事務局會在3個月後開設一名為「性別認同及性傾向小組」，計劃為期2年，將會設立熱線接受有關性傾向歧視的投訴及就有關投訴作出調解。
