Because when you notch the firewall you can move the engine farther back. There was plenty of room for the distributor when that car rolled off the assmebly line. Why do you need to re-engineer the firewall?

Aluminum Blocks allow less front end weight, thus a much more favorable weight distribution front to rear in a traction limited class! Noit to mention this is suppose to be an entry level class! So why would an entry level class need a $5000.00 Block? I say allow any OEM Aluminum Block, aftermerket blocks should be illegal.

Didn't you run Outlaw Limited Street in the past with a Green Chevelle? Big Motor and 3 stages? If so Why are you in Easy Street?
