Hey Dominique!

The thing about e-books is that you can't read the story the same way. And because of that, it's usually not as enjoyable. For example, I LOVE to read my books in my favorite reclining chair, stretched out on the couch, or in bed surrounded by all my plushy pillows. And I can sit or lay there, sipping on my favorite drinks, nibbling on my favorite goodies, for as long as I please with complete uninterrupted reading (as long as Scotty is in bed). But if you do e-books, then you have the stress of computer that are too slow, freeze up CONSTANTLY, like to restart uncommanded, shut down entirely against your will, or just freak out with the most hated computer message across the world "Sorry, page cannot be displayed". Who wants to have to deal with all that when your on page 28, completely absorbed in the story by that point, and can't seem to either fix the problem, or just are not interested in trying to find the exact paragraph you were jolted from by the time you finally resolve the issues?? I certainly wouldn't have the patience. I would just give up by that point and...yes, I would go back and read later on, but the experience just would not be the same again.

Computers are good for many things, and YES e-books can do very well, but just expressing my opinions, I would not have the will power to try *UNLESS* Dara's books were ONLY e-books. Then it would be worth it. But knowing there are paperbacks out there on their way, I think I will patiently wait. On an ending note, there is nothing quite as fulfilling as holding the stories you love in your fingertips and knowing you can take them with you where ever you may go, and re-enter their worlds time and time again.

Charity
