  Hello I got an email a couple of weeks ago saying books were going out to print. Cory any news would be good news. Also I am wondering if dara can give any info on when she will be able to mainstream print again or if she cant talk about it. I hope someday soon I can go into a book store again and buy one of her new books.

  A minister decided to do something a little different one Sunday
  morning. He said "Today, I am going to say a single word and you are going
  to help me preach. Whatever single word I say, I want you to sing whatever
  hymn that comes to your mind.
  
  
  
  The pastor shouted out " CROSS " Immediately the congregation
  started singing in unison, " THE OLD RUGGED CROSS "
  
  
  The pastor hollered out " GRACE ". The congregation began to sing "
  AMAZING GRACE, how sweet the sound ."
  
  
  The pastor said " POWER " The congregation sang " THERE IS POWER
  IN THE BLOOD ."
  
  
  The Pastor said " SEX ". The congregation fell into total silence.
  
  
  Everyone was in shock. They all nervously began to look around at
  each other afraid to say anything.
  
  
  Then all of a sudden, way from in the back of the church, a little
  old 87 year old grandmother stood up and began to sing " PRECIOUS MEMORIES "

  I re-read the book High Intensity at B&N while waiting for my son to finish with his study group. I had forgotten what a hoot that book was. The scene where Tyber and Zanita are in the bath scene and she says "What's this" and pull out a sponge, but Tyber all but has a heart attack because at the time she was caressing him and he thought it was something else "his prize jewels". I laughed so hard that I had people turning to look at me. When I explained to my College age son what had me laughing he replied "That is not funny" That only made me laugh harder. I hope in the future to read more about that couple.

  Just wanted to express my opinion on the book situation. I got hooked on Dara's books from the first paragraph of the first book I ever read. There are few authors that can transport a reader so thoroughly to other worlds and times as Dara can. I can only begin to imagine the frustration that she must be feeling at the situation she finds herself in. Here she is, a brilliant author with stories just bursting to be told and enjoyed by readers and she can't get the stories out because a corporate Goliath is facing her across a field and all she has is her tiny sling-shot with a small rock called 'the truth'.
  
  Personally I am thankful for the enormous effort she has put forth in trying to get stories to her readers during this extremely difficult time. I like many of you, prefer to hold a book in my hands, where I can read at my leisure, when and where I'd like.
  
  I'm very much looking forward to reading the latest book and will welcome it whenever it finally appears at my doorfront. The alternative would be to decide the process from payment to delivery takes too long and decide not to purchase any further books. I can only imagine how frustrated I would be knowing that there was a new Dara book out there and that I chose not to buy it. Nope, can't do it. I'll wait thank you and hope that Dara's legal wrangling will be a thing of the past very soon.

  Great news! We got word today that the book is going to press next Wednesday or Thursday!!!
  
  They are thinking Wednesday(11/16) but it will depend on when they finish the run before ours so I will keep you in close contact as we move swiftly to launch. We're really excited and can't wait until the book is in your hands; we think you'll have a great time reading it!
  
  As we did the last time, we are printing a limited number of extra copies of these first editions but once they are gone that will be it. If you would like to order some extra copies (or know someone who didn't get a chance to get their order in yet) we will fulfill orders on a first come first serve basis until they are sold out.

  I am a big Dara fan, but I have noticed that her last book "The Familiar Touch" was difinetly not as good as the previous ones. I am not trying to put her down but I feel really disappointed. I just read the excerpt for her new book and could not believe some of the material. Her metaphors were tacky and dumb, I was confused what time period the book was even set in. Why was she talking about Einstein and Samaraui warriors if the book is set in the future? Her other books were so good. What happened to Dara Joy?

  I’m wondering what self publishing company that is being used. I have a hard time with the idea that any company would delay the publishing of a book this long with out offering some sort of discount or something to the people that are publishing the book. Part of me is really wondering if Dara was just late finishing the book and in getting it to the publsihing company. I would really like to be able to confirm the reasons of the delay myself.

  I don't pop in often, but I like checking in now and then. I ordered the first book and the latest book and I just wanted to let everyone know who didn't go through this the last time, that the long delays and lack of info was the very same with That Familiar Touch. I didn't get upset about it then and I'm not gettin upset about it now. Publishing a book yourself is a very imperfect science. All kinds of delays happen. Yes, Cory could be faster about informing people, but you know, it's not that much money and I figure hey, it'll come when it comes. And I'll just be happy to have something by Dara to read. TFT turned out really well and I've never regretted buying it even though it took a really reeeally long time. Some goes for this one. Those are my thoughts on it.

  well ladies, gentlemen, and Superman. i am so pleased and bursting at the seams with pride to announce the long awaited birth of my new niece!!!!
  
  Damaris Romina was born at 4pm on November 2nd via c-section. she weighed in at 9lbs 2 ounces and the doctor said she was 25-27 inches! the nurse brought her to the window so everyone could see her, she was squirming and crying and my mother was tapping the glass she opened her eyes and when she saw her she left out an ear piercing wail so she'll be a fine addition to my family's strong dynasty.
  
  she has a thick mat of black hair and beautiful black eyes. she joins her older sister Arilyse. so as proud as i can be i say to my kitten welcome to the world!!!

  I'd like to celebrate the Chciago White Sox winning the 2005 American League Championship by postng the following facts about Chicago.

  Hey Girl. I really debated about writing back on here, but fuck it. Here I am. Was up? Yea Cherry and I talked and she told me you wanted to see me. Well I am here. I don't feel entirely comfortable with knowing all she told you but what can I do about that now. Look I will start this out saying the exact same thing I told her when she found out some things that she was never meant to know... just accept it as it is. Don't ask too many questions, because you won't get any answers. I will be excessively blunt about this to you as I was to her... I really don't fu*king care if you believe in yourmind that you need to know more or if it will give you the closure you need... It's over, done with, and nothing can change that, so why drag it out with more questions and seeking some truths that don't matter now, and don't concern you. If you can't understand this and accept this, all you have to do is test me. I can disappear as easily as I reappeared. But I won't come back. I know this sounds threatening, and I don't want to piss you off, but I just want to make this perfectly clear. And I believe now I have done so. SO on to other things....
  
  I heard you moved. I am relieved to hear your alive and well and survived the hurricane(s). With all the crazy @ss storms rocking the east coast it would not surprise me to wake up and find it all underwater tomorrow. The new Atlantis. Yea you should definetly pack bags and move again. Why not try out the west coast? The oceans are sleeping peacefully on this side. Less drama. Anywaz, I've been thinkin of ya girl. I am happy to hear you wanted to see me. I thought about writing to you again after my first attempt last year, but when 2 months went by with no responce, I figured I would let you blow off more steam and give you your space. You must have been pretty pissed off at me and "that other guy" for you to wait until now, a year later, to finally decide to talk to me again. I won't ask why you waited so long because I really don't care anymore. Besides, I figured it would only be a matter of time before you realized you could not live without me. HAHAHA.   Hello,
  
  For quite some time, I've been wondering what's been going on with Dara's Matrix of Destiny novels. Now, before someone simply gets exasperated with me for not knowing about the lawsuit until now (oct. 19th), trust me when I say that for the last 2 years, I've been in a country, in an area WITHOUT access to computers...and this lawsuit hasn't exactly been all over the news.
  I've poured over the site, but I must still confess to some confusion. I understand that there's been a lawsuit and because of this, her novels have not been published...but there must be something else going on. The description I found on the site was very vague and not very understandable and I haven't found much else around the web.
  I simply want to know...what exactly is going on right now? When (if ever?) will Dara be able to finish her novels? Will Dorchester ever pay for what they did?
  Thank you in anticipation of a response...
