More than likely they are not using a self-publishing company but a printer. The difference being a printer is hired to complete a print job. A printer would naturally put larger jobs before smaller ones due to the time and work involved in the set-up of equipment, etc. And a smaller job would be subject to being pushed back due to larger (and higher paying) jobs. Also, this would account for the fact that "That Familiar Touch" is no longer in print. If they were using a self-publishing company, they would be able to print more copies of a title because the book would be formatted and ready to print on demand. Dara and Cory are at the mercy of the printer and any unforeseeable delays that may arise. I can only imagine how frustrated they are and they would never intentionally keep Dara's fans waiting. I for one am appreciative that they are finding a way to get Dara's work out to her fans while the costly legal wranglings of Dorchester take away her livelyhood, tie up her work and keep it from her fans.

Take care,
Dee:)
