Subject: I'll Miss You All

Hello Everyone ((((((((Everyone))))))))

As many of you know...I'm leaving for Egypt soon. Egypt has always been a deep passion of mine...instilled into my heart by my Grandfather(((((((((((Grandpa))))))))))...and after two previous failed attempts to visit there...I am finally on my way. For me...this is not just a trip...or a vacation...but more of a "search for the Holy Grail" in my life so to speak...starting from my Grandfather's Grandfather...and his Grandfather before him...hundreds of years of a secret devotion...a love of the Ancient Secrets...being passed along to me. It has been a fundamental elemnet in our lives for many generations. And I am beside myself with excitement and anticipation. Unless something major happens there (which it could and has) I leave in early November. I am starting my trip by flying to Milan/Italy...and from Italy...I'll be flying to Cairo to see the Great Pyramids, and the enigmatic Sphinx...built with the Secret Strength, Beauty, and Wisdom of the Ancients...along with taking a drive to the beautiful city of Alexandria...then I'll be flying 500 miles up the Nile Valley to the lovely town of Aswan...where I will be catching a smaller plane to fly to the huge sandstone temples of Abu Simbel...from there I will board a boat hotel to begin a cruise on the Nile...where I will be stopping to visit the Temple Of Isis...which was transplanted from the now submerged island of Philae...and I will be docking at Kom Ombo, to walk to its bluff top temple deticated to the Gods...then I will climb into a carrige for a drive through Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus, built in Cleopatra's time...about 2,000 years ago...stopping afterwards in Esna...to visit the markets there...and do some shopping...then boarding the Hotel Boat once more...I will end my cruise...docking in Luxor...where I will visit the remarkable Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens on the west bank of the Nile...Deir El-Bahari, Queen Hatshepsut's monumental rock temple...the two Collossi of Memnon gaurding the valleys...the Luxor Temple...and last but not least...I will end my stay in Egypt...by visiting the beautiful monuments of Karnak...to walk among the pillars of the Temple of Amon Ra...and along the Avenue of the Sphinxes...then I will be coming back to America...this is just the basics...but there is so much more...there are still so many things to do before my trip...so between work and studying I will not have time to come here anymore before I go...so I am here now to say goodbye...and I'll miss you all...I will admit that there is definately an element of danger involved by me going...especially since I am going alone...but I will do my best to come back to all of you safe and sound...please know that no matter how far away I am *puts hand on heart* you will all always be right here with me...I love you guys...I'll miss you soooo much!...*Hugs and Kisses*...see you soon.
