Hi Stephanie, Let me start by saying that I can understand how you and Dara's other fans who were unable to order That Familiar Touch before it went to print must feel. As you may know Dara and Cory (Dara's webmaster) took on a huge endevour when they decided to self publish TFT.. and this was done so that we as fans would be able to once again enjoy her writing.. The books were printed "to order". The same is being done for the new book. However it is no fault of Dara's that others are taking advantage of the fact that some people will pay enormous, outrageous prices for these books. Thereby making it impossible for some to be able to afford to pay for them. I would hate for Dara to lose loyal fans because of the misdeeds of others. Dara has no control over what others are now selling these book for.

I have heard... and I do not know if it is true or not... just a rumor, that a few small bookstores around the country ordered copies of these books. Have you perhaps checked out any small local bookstores in your area? Also, if there are any used book stores in your area perhaps you could visit them and if they do not have any copies on hand, they may be able to take your name and number and contact you if any become available!? Just a couple of suggestions, I hope this helps out at least a little bit.
