Once a book is published (in any format) there is always the risk of copyright infringement.

Dara can publish her books in an ebook format and do what the major pub companies do: Disable some of the features. i.e. copying, etc. Just NOT the text-to-speach function, please! Have no idea why the pubs disable this sometimes.

Ebooks are great for many reasons. One of which is that the sight-impaired can "read" books. There is a gross shortage of audio books available. My sister is blind and depends on both audio and ebooks for her stories. As most of her authors do not have books available in either format, she is forced to listen to my reading books that are available in print only. Very unsatisfying.

So, I vote for Dara to publish ebooks!
