  I HATE bashers & bashing...So in light of the Christmas spirit, I am going to share this with ALL of you. So get it and get it quick before its deleted because you ALL will want this info if you do not have it already. We no longer compete in pageants but I see the bashing every day and its so cruel and mean, if enough people have this info, then maybe a end will come to all of these ugly boards (Click in) -- Anonymous, 21:55:43 12/08/05 Thu [1]
  IP addresses are used for that very purpose, especially in a forum or board. If the people defacing the board were stupid enough to do it from their home computer with its internet connection, then you have a really good chance of finding out exactly who it is. Everyone's ISP (internet service provider) logs what IP they give to their customers, and every website generates a log of the IP's that connect to it. One simple trick you can try? Start > Run > type in "cmd" In the command prompt, type in "tracert X" X = the IP address of the user This will follow the path that your connection takes to the location of the other person's IP address, usually their ISP. Pay attention to the end of the log, which is where the other person's ISP domain name usually comes into the picture. Whatever domain name (.net,.com,etc.) that you see near the end, try going to their website. If the website is an ISP, then send an e-mail to them regarding what happened, and the logged IP, and how you traced it back to them. You should be able to get some help from the ISP. If on the other hand the person did this from a public computer or connection, it will be hard to find specifically who do it. Either way you will have their home town and if its their personal computer that they are bashing on, then you will also get their home telephone #

  On my list of pageant wants, here's a biggie. Move your judges around. I hate it when a director gets judges from the same state where the pageant is being held or a bordering state. If it's a national pageant, don't limit yourself to one region of the nation. Your contestants are coming from all over, so your judges should too. It's not fair to the ones outside that region if all 3-4 judges are from there. There are 50 states to choose from...use them. :o)

  how many times have you been hurt by someone you thought was your friend? i've learned from experience that whoever will talk about someone else to you will talk about you to someone else. the receiving end is not fun. it's hard to ignore it when someone hurts you but when you do you stop the cycle and you don't end up like them. i've talked about someone who hurt me before because i thought i was defending myself but in the end, i didn't look any better than the person who hurt me so i didn't accomplish anything by trying to hurt them back. i've never posted on this board before and never will again but i just want you all to think about your actions before you are so quick to post or talk or second guess your friends. if it makes you feel big to talk about someone or post about someone behind their backs would you be the same big woman to talk about them to their face or do you just smile and act like your their best friend? and you call them the hypocrite? why do we have to be so mean? these boards are destroying pageantry and friendships and reputations and half of whats posted on them is a lie or heresay. stop and think about what you do and always try to put yourself on the receiving end. i may get bashed for trying to make a difference but at least you'll be leaving somebody else alone.
