  • Mr. Tim is da'bomb. He stands next to each girl in line up and sings to them, sometimes butterfly kisses, sometimes other songs. It is a special time for each girl. Nice. (NT) -- No name, 16:57:52 10/14/05 Fri
  • He does sing to them individually at some pageants. At others he just goes behind them singing depending on what the director instructs him to do. Sometimes at the larger pageants, it takes so long during lineup that it saves time not to sing to each girl. But, DDA and Gingerbread are exceptions. I would introduce your child to MR tim and let her know what is going to happen and that may help but some kids will be nervous either way and some will love it and eat it up.   Would anyone be willing to offer some FRIENDLY advice to newcomers to glitz pageants? My daughter is 8 and has only done natural pageants. She will compete in her 1st nat'l pageant next month.   I was due for an appointment with the gynecologist later
  in the week. Early one morning, I received a call from the
  doctor's office to tell me that I had been rescheduled for that morning at 9:30 am. I had only just packed everyone off to work and school, and it was already around 8:45 am. The trip to his office took about 35 minutes, so I didn't have any time to spare As most women do, I like to take a little extra effort over hygiene when making such visits, but this time I wasn't going to be able to make the full effort. So, I rushed upstairs, threw off my pajamas, wet the washcloth that was sitting next to the sink, and gave myself a quick wash in "that area" to make sure I was at least presentable. I threw the washcloth in the clothes basket, donned some clothes, hopped in the car and raced to my appointment. I was in ! the waiting room for only a few minutes when I was called in. Knowing the procedure, as I'm sure you do, I hopped up on the table, looked over at the other side of the room and pretended that I was in Paris or some other place a million miles away. I was a little surprised when the doctor said, "My, we have made an extra effort this morning, haven't we?" I didn't respond. After the appointment, I heaved a sigh of relief and went home. The rest of the day was normal... some shopping, cooking, etc. After school when my 6 year old daughter was playing, she called out from the bathroom, "Mommy, where's my washcloth?" I told her to get another one from the cupboard. She replied,"No, I need the one that was here by the sink, it had all my glitter and sparkles saved inside it."

  As I said before, I will never post IP's or ISP's or whatever they are. I have looked at the argument regarding Toni O. I have identified what I think is CM's IP and what I think CS's IP is. It appears that neither lady has aol. However, there is alot of conversation contributing to the argument that IS aol and some from independent/unrelated IP's . But, none matches either of these ladies' IP's. In fact, it appears that neither lady started the argument, but multiple unrelated people seem to have an opinion on this subject.
  
  I hope this explanation satisfies the request from the board and that we can all be friends. Now...let's hold hands and sing koom-bah-yah.

    • Tammy loves natural photos. The glitz pics are decent, I don't think thats what they are specializing in but its a great price for what you get. The natural pics are awesome, judges have really liked them. We are planning to shoot with Blown Away at NES and wish we had done it at Elegance because all the blown away photos won there.             • My daughter shot with Blown Away at Elegance. Of the contestants entered in natural if there was a blown away photo in that group it won and if there was more than one they placed winner and then 1st alternate. The judges loved Blown Away and most got perfect scores. The Ulitmate won with her natural photos. That is most likely why Tammy has told people to use them (if that is in fact true.)   Cover Miss and Sunburst are the two most prestigous titles even though there is no rhyme or reason to there winners. Some are the most gorgous girls out there and some are pretty at best. Some might be a mall rat that is no prettier than anyone else there and some might be a over done pageant kid. Never the less if pageant moms are honest with themselves it would be a title that anyone would love to have.Glamour Dolls used to be next but has fallen from glory it would now be honorable mention on my list. Here goes.

  Apparently, some people are "creating" daughters from different elements of multiple photos. The hair comes from one photo, the lips from another, the eyes from somewhere else, the clothes somewhere else. I'ts crazy.
