Date Posted: 19:15:57 01/20/06 Fri Justin,Please listen to Harvey and Mike,Larry has appointed these guys to make sure that things at the track are run better than in the past.I know for a fact that if things don't turn around so that Larry and Kathie can operate this track to be able to pay for it that it's always an option to shut it down.I personnaly know that people made mistakes last year and that changes are on the way. So please stay off this forum unless Larry ok's it and I know what he told you on the cell phone, when you called him. Larry is talking about closing this forum if it is being used to argue at racers.Take my advice, cool it! [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Subject: 2006 Race Season | |
Author: Brian Brown [ Edit | View ] |
Date Posted: 12:35:41 01/13/06 Fri I understand the meetings that are coming up about the Prescott Outlaws and all, but someone needs to come on this board, whether it's Larry or whoever is going to run it, and let us know whether we'll be racing this year at Prescott or not. This I'm running the show, and no you are not stuff is kind of getting out of hand. I understand you need to see other people's schedules to set your schedule and all, but there is no way that you all will be able to make a schedule for 2006 that does not conflict somewhere, even with the Texas races. There will be at least two outlaw 10.5 races a month in Houston alone next year, and that's not counting The Clash of the Titans or King of the Hill. I know it's still January, but 2006 is going to be a huge year for outlaw racing, so we kind of need to know where Prescott stands. We can wait on a schedule, but is Prescott even going to have outlaw races this year. Thanks, Brian Brown [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Mike, my dad, and I have been racing with and against Randy for a long time. After seeing some of there work this past year, I talked to Randy about converting our car over to twin 88mm turbos, and the rest is history. Date Posted: 11:54:06 01/05/06 Thu As winter rolls on it seems Justin you are trying to take over for Cole. I would like to make a suggestion, you can take with a grain of salt. I would like to see you ask someone like Brad West to run the technical end of races. It seems you are willing to try to promote and run the show but as a racer myself I would feel better if what involed me directly, someone with more experience had a say so. I believe Brad is well liked and respected PLUS he brings in an understanding of what technical rules each class should have. Maybe He's not interested but if not I wish you would at least find someone of his caliber to help you. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 10:12:06 11/27/05 Sun the thing i need to know is... IS there going to be a prescott outlaws racing series next year??? and also, the rules are so jacked up right now in reat street and EZ is there gonna be a way to fix them??? real street is a very good class, i remember the 1st real street race which i was in that there were like 20 cars. this class should go unchanged IMHO. EZ on the other hand is new and has had some "tweeks" one of which put my car down a while. it was MY choice to try and beat the clock to get ladder bars on my car before the last race... i didn't make it. rule changes open up classes to more cars, yes, while putting existing cars in the shop for "updates" to try and stay competitive. i love prescott, it's like coming home to me but we need some CONSITENCY here guys. these are just my opinions from a guy who hasn't raced in a series in a while but we need a SET of rules to follow that are not open to discussion after they are set. as for Shane Parker, i campaigned for a rule change in EZ myself to let a friends car in that has a blower... that car has not made it out... yet, so i'm not pointing fingers in a negative manner, i've done it myself. i just want a class that my car will fit and i have a chance to finish top 5. is there going to be a meeting after the holidays is my question??? Date Posted: 17:54:46 11/23/05 Wed I don't know who died and gave the one and only Dr. Parker the right to give a speech on the "Bottom Line of Prescott" when he shows up at the end of the year and runs EZ Street one time all year. The guys that showed up all year and ran Real Street are not Doctors and with the exception of Shahan don't get the chance to drive for one. The guys that built this class shouldn't have to lose all the money they have in thier motors and dump 25K in a new one. If you, Shahan's Doctor and Donnie have this kind of money to throw away why don't you step and run Larry and leave the 9 to 5 working man alone. Nothing personal Shane, but you don't know what it is like to work your *ss off for the money to build a car for 06 knowing that you are going to throw enough money at it until you win, instead of making what you have compete. Date Posted: 19:24:12 11/23/05 Wed I think us real steet guys that have been commited in running the class all year have nothing to worry about next year.I know this because the couple of people making such a big stink about these mountain motors Know nothing about how to make one run.Just look at what they had this year. 1 had a 950 HOURSE'S SMALL BLOCK that would not run to save it's life. The other is all righ with a bunch of nitrous and no weight. And lets not forget about pushing the envelope on the tires. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
