Diet pills can't actually make you lose weight, can they? They can just give you more energy and decrease your appetite, right?

I feel no hunger as is, so I don't need a pill for that, and I exercise too much already. I've even read that feeling hunger is a sign that your metabolism is "working." I'm not sure about this, but it makes sense to me. It's like your body stops sending the hunger signal when you ignore it for so long, thus I don't feel it, and when your body understands that it is being feed and doesn't need to hold on to everything you eat as fat, it starts sending hunger signals again. I'm not sure about the science though. It could be similar to getting dizzy when one skips a meal. When I eat nothing I don't get dizzy, but when I raise my cals I am dizzy in the morning. Chocolate, any insight?
