one more thingíK similar to the ways you numbered the bad deeds of the govt, i think of this as the bad thing about hk is that the ways used by tung is now spreading everywhere... top-down, parental rule, fascist, lack of visionsíK in my school, we are struggling to get more "good" staffs in (there are already too many bad people), especially animation people. but regarding the recent staffing committee meeting which decided to hire an animator, a co-worker wrote:

1) there is no single animator
2) there is no woman
3) there is no people who know the art scene in hk
4) there is no one who has connections to pertinent industry in hk, or in the world
5) it consists of several people that are actually unrelated to the whole issue.

IíŽd add, there is no junior faculty and no one younger than 35... as a joke and a wishful thinking...

sigh!. is it like the govt we have now?
do you know, the school of creative media, a media school, is now headed by a person from law school (of course an white american), who basically knows nothing about the media, arts, technology, and cultural studies of course, who only talks about visions of the school and its relations with china, and always asks, " are we producing the right students?"

i was just asked about these on last fri!?!?!?!
what could i say?

take good care of yourself while fighting the evils!
