Ah, so Halzay wanted to talk to S’peer, did she? Nice that she was going to grace him with her presence at long last. Well, as long as she didn’t turn S’peer back into what he was, G’rein was willing to let things lie. Halzay didn’t seem to have a very good effect on the bluerider, but maybe, if he could talk to her, it could put his mind at rest. Huh. That or get S’peer back to the bottle…

G’rein, she may not be so bad. Grenith scolded him. Scarth defends her.

‘Yeah. Well, maybe it’s time he stopped. S’peer’s been blaming himself for all this…maybe he should accept that a greenrider shouldn’t panic.’

Maybe. Or maybe you are forgetting that not all riders are as relaxed about things as you are, and maybe they get hurt.

No. And do not send her to S’peer – Scarth says that he is talking to Maria.

So the two gave up their conversation, G’rein returning his attention to the girl. “Well, My name is G’rein, and I ride green Grenith. Can you tell me where your mummy is?”
