I've had some ask who is eligible to compete at the Miss US National Forestry Pageant??? The pageant is open to any girl from ALL STATES!!!

The pageant is a one day only pageant and is September 2, 2006.

The queens will receive the Official National crown with amber and smoky topaz stones, robe, rhinestone studded sash, crown pin, 3 1/2 foot trophy, flowers, gifts, and scholarships. The opportunity to promote the Forestry Industry Nationally. This pageant will be an awesome opportunites for young ladies. There will be some girls from other states competing, an awesome opportunity to have fun, make friends, and promote the Forestry Industry.

To obtain an application go to http://missusnationalforestry.com and print out an application. The deadline to enter is August 5th.

The age divisions will be
Teeny Miss ages 2 to 3 years
Tiny Miss ages 4 to 6 years
Little Miss ages 7 to 9 years
Junior Miss ages 10 to 12 years
Teen Miss ages 13 to 16 years
Miss ages 17 to 23 years

Younger girls will be scored on personality, beauty, gown, poise, and overall appearance.

Teen and Miss will be scored on interview, speech, and evening gown competition.

The queens will attend the National Forestry Festival, the National Fair in Perry, the Ag Expo, and appear in a National Television commercial that is shown on television stations in all states.
