Subject: Miss Georgia Hope Charity Pageant Celebrating our 15th Year Anniversary Author: Anonymous [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11:08:19 08/29/06 Tue We are accepting applications for the 15th Annual Miss Georgia Hope Charity Pageant to be held on October 7, 2006 at the Tift Theatre for the Performing Arts. This pageant is held in Memory of Kenneth Snow. Last year we awarded $2500.00 in scholarships in Memory of Kenneth with proceeds from the pageant. Queens will receive beautiful custom round crowns with pink and crystal stones, custom sash, large trophy, crowning pin, flowers and savings bonds. There will be three runnerups named in each age group. The winners will present the Kenneth Snow Scholarships onstage at the 68th Annual Miss Georgia Forestry Pageant. There will be an optional talent competition: Talent winners will have the honor of entertaining at the preshow for the 68th Annual Miss Georgia Forestry State Pageant. The age divisions are as follows: 5:00 P.M. Baby Miss ages birth to 23 months Teeny Miss ages 2 to 3 years Tiny Miss ages 4 to 6 years 7:00 P.M. Little Miss ages 7 to 9 years Junior Miss ages 10 to 12 years Teen Miss ages 13 to 16 years Miss ages 17 and over Reigning Queens on hand to relinquish their titles will be Edan Warren-Baby Miss Georgia Hope Charity Queen Katelyn Blocker-Teeny Miss Georgia Hope Charity Queen Lauren Etchells-Tiny Miss Georgia Hope Charity Queen Savanna Shedd-Little Miss Georgia Hope Charity Queen Alexis Walker-Miss Georgia Hope Charity Ambassador Queen Lexi Rutland-Miss Georgia Hope Charity Hospitality Queen Cheyanne Yarbrough-Junior Miss Georgia Hope Charity Queen Courtney Hicks-Teen Miss Georgia Hope Charity Queen Meredith Carey-Miss Georgia Hope Charity Queen Our 15th Anniversary has been planned for a year, everyone is invited. This will be fun! This pageant was started in memory of Kenneth Snow, a dear friend of mine and Mrs. Judy Dale's. Kenneth had Cystic Fibrosis and was waiting on a heart and lung transplant, Kenneth didn't live long enough to receive the transplant, so we carry on his name in honor of three scholarships. The pageant was named after Kenneth and he would be honored to know the pageant was still going strong. The receipients of the 2005 Kenneth Snow Scholarships were Ejaye Craig, Marenda Ricketson, and Samantha Wilson.
