One being why Miss Georgia Forestry didn't compete. Miss Georgia Forestry is a very busy and popular young lady representing Georgia Forestry for our wonderful state. She has a very very busy schedule ahead of her. It would be hard to promote the Georgia Forestry Industry and the National Forestry Industry at the same time if she were to win both. Beth will have the opportunity to compete next year. Miss Georgia Forestry will compete in the National when she gives up her Georgia title, that way the two titles will not be so demanding at the same time, if she were to win the National title. The younger girls competed because their titles are not so demanding. Mrs. Dianne
