Zeara nodded, having abandoned her seat on 'rask's back when she was introduced to Master Yima. Though it gave her a distinct advantage, 'rask hadn't been pleased when she'd tried to introduce herself from her shoulders. She reached a hand up to rest comfortably on 'rask's crest, guiding him gently in the direction of Yima's voice. They actually moved horizantally- so that Zeara could feel the wall before 'rask bumped his tender nose into it.
She felt it- and she tugged gently on 'rask's crest so that tey followed the wall. The hole came suddenly- without the smoothness that Zeara was used to. She floudered for a moment before Zearask trapped her body between his leg and huge head. He guided her so that they faced into the tunnel, then pulled his head back to where he could see what was in front of him. The lone human female- the one without a wher- was in front of him. Zeara began counting the openings on the right. She passed five- past the ones to be occupied- and went to the other side. Thirty-six steps from there, there was another opening. But that was still far to close to the others. She adapted her measuring step- the twenty-four inch one-, and stalked thirty more steps. There was an opening- one large enough for huge Zearask to get into. The tiny woman smiled, and clucked softly to her wher.
"Come one, 'rask. We sleep here." She ventured into the cave to find a series of smaller caved running from it. A quick exploration of the first cave told her that is was approximately sixteen feet long, or eight steps, and forty feet wide, which would be twenty steps. The walls were rough, and she had snagged herself several times, but there was a ledge about three feet off the floor, five feet high, and four feet wide. Once she had established that, the Journeywoman shcuked her pack off, leaving it on the ledge.
"Six steps from the front, twelve to the left," she muttered to herself, climbing down from the ledge. Zearask had slipped into one of the farther caves, and Zeara now followed, still counting. She was up to forty steps, one hand outstretched to avoid running into the wall, when her hand contancted with something hard and smooth. It was a wall, one that curved smoothly away from her. She didn't followed it, but mentally marked the spot. She'd come back later, and followed it.

"Where are you sleeping, 'rask?" she asked the great bronze, taking two steps to the left, and taking twenty steps before hitting the rough wall. She took two measured steps to the right, and came to the opening again.
'rask moaned someting to her left and behind. The blessed blackness aided her as she marked the spot by leaving a dagger, and stepped off into the direction of the moan.
Though it had been a soft moan, Zeara took forty steps before hearing something else- a loud slurping sound. Recognizing 'rask's signature slurp, and counted quickly, her legs never breaking from the two foot measurement. And, the faintest outline of blacker than black against black, Zeara percieved the silouette of who could only be her 'rask, his head bent down. There was a tiny, still pool of water, hardly more than a water trough by wher standards. And from the water the faintest of shine on the pool lowered, it wasn't very deep. 'rask could really drink if he put a mind to it.

((And here is where I'm stopping- becase I've run out of inspiration. SYL))
