• She hesitated by her door, her fingers curling around the door frame as she looked into the bland room, waiting their a moment before glancing back down the hall over her shoulder, glancing to him a little unsurelybefore heading into her room, leaving the door wide open. • He pulled himself up off of the wall, grabbing his sisters back pack of clothes and things and following this girl to the room. Kacey was having a wander around and get her bearings while he got her stuff settled in. He'd allready put his things into his own room. She was fairly enthralled with all of this, all these kids. She'd spent so many night wondering who her brothers were with- what kind of people they were, and now she had this little glimpse into their lives it was intriguing. • She tipped her head a little, watching him with that almost childish innocence. "Lacey... who are you?" She wasn;t exactly angelic- but she;d never gotten into trouble. She was smart too, she had good grades and a lot of perseverance. She was pretty stable despite their fucked up home life. Their father had left when she was about sevenand their mother had become a violent alcoholic, the boys had protected her from it- their mother had then 'accepted jesus christ as her personal saviour' and had gone on this deep spiritual; thing of right and wrong... things had been better then- but it was all just laying under the surface- when the boys got caught it had all come out again- the drinkiing- the abuse- and Lacey had had to take all of it alone.
