She leaned her elbows on the windowsill, looking out over the neighborhood - kids playing in the streets. She had hoped that this was a step up from foster homes, but with the boys parenting over her it would hardly be comfortable.

  • It was hardly parenting- it was just everyone pulling their weight. The guys wanted to keep them out of jail- nothing more.
