Subject: She sighed, shaking her head pitifully. "None of those are good movies." She tipped her head towards him, her lower lip jutting out in somewhat of a pout. "I am bored. There is nothing for me to do here right now and I don't want to go to my room because then I will have to study or something equally as gross." She huffed, shaking her head, her brow furrowed in distaste. "So, since you are playing hooky, and I am avoiding studying which is kind of playing hooky, we should do something, don't you think?"

"I'm avoiding real work though because I am supposed to be putting in some time on a painting at home. This was supposed to be only a stop-in." He explained, though did seem a little reluctant to rush off to his apartment to spend the rest of the day trying to make some rich old bag look stately and elegant. He loved painting, but sometimes it got a little excessive just trying to appease his clients - who were most often middle-aged or older and had too much money and were so pompous that they needed portraits of themselves to hang in their homes.
