He eased her into his arms and leant back against the wall, laying his hand on her stomach and rubbing soothing, letting his gaze linger on the so obscure looking bulge before lifting his gaze to her and smiling a touch "I want to fight all your demons.... forever... "

  • The idea of someone wanting to be around her for a long term period of time was just inconceivable to her. She had been used and tossed aside her whole life and it was like she was just waiting for Rio to be done with her also. She settled easily against his chest, her head resting back on his shoulder as she closed her eyes and relaxed in his strong embrace. A smile played over her lips absently, the baby still moving beneath Rio's hands but at a much calmer pace now. "Well...if you want to fight them, then who am I to tell you no?"
