He crossed his arms on the bed, his chin resting on them as he looked up at her. "I'm sorry for the things I said, pet, I really am.." His eyes were such puppy dogs, big and brown and begging for her forgiveness for his words even though he had just been lashing out because of the hurt she caused him.
