She needed him to know that she hated what she did - there wasn't a single aspect of any of it that she ever enjoyed, but she just had no choice. She was stuck in this spiral that showed no sign of ending. One hand slid the few inches across the bed to where his chin was resting, so that her cool fingers could just softly touch his cheek.
