Subject: He lifted his eyes for a second before he sighed and shifted off the floor, two hands planted on the bed to pull himself up before he laid out on the bed - on top of the covers - next to her. His fingers shifted to play through her hair gently, letting the strands slip through his fingers before he let his eyes fall down to hers. "Probably tired, aren't you pet?" He murmured softly, his hand trailing down her jaw before it went to play back in her hair. He knew she didn't enjoy what she did, it had to haunt her and as much as the little outing had probably exhausted her physically it had to be even worse mentally. Her emotions had to be drained. "Get some rest..shouldn't have kept you up..unconsiderate git is what I am..." He murmured softly, his brow furrowed as he gazed down at her. He hadn't meant to stress her out anymore, add anymore to her plate but maybe if she saw how much he cared and it affect him..maybe it would influence her decision a touch...

  • Having slept all day already, she wasn't actually all that tired, but was feeling uncharacteristically vulnerable after their fight and didn't feel much like doing anything but lying there. At his fingers tender in her hair and then on her face, she inhaled softly and her eyes slid lightly shut for the moment - so reassured and warmed just by his simple touch. The tip of her tongue touched her lips as her eyes fluttered open to meet his and she shook her head a little in quiet protest. "I deserved that, Kaden..."
