"Sometimes the brightness isn't so bad." At his request, she complied, and then opened her eyes against once he had returned. Now beneath the blanket, she tugged it up around her shoulders and nestled close to him, one brow cocked slightly as she smiled a little. "Guess it's a good thing I didn't crawl right into bed with you, huh?"

A slow smirk crossed his face, transforming the small smile into a more rakish expression. "Next time you come tryin' to wake me up you might see a good bit more then you were expectin'."
