Subject: She squealed softly in surprise - so caught up in her own world that she hadn't really considered that someone else might be around and hadn't even heard him approach - and looked over her shoulder at him. Her dark gaze lingered for a long moment - a little squinty in the dim light - before she nodded and returned to her sandwich. "Hungry? I'm making a sandwich. Want one?" She had only officially met a few of the kids, and only really talked to one or two so far, but she pretty much knew who everyone was and was reasonably sure that his name was Kaden. Not waiting for his response, she pulled out a couple more slices of bread and began to assemble one for him too.

  • "Sure..." he murmured after she had already started making it, his brow furrowed a touch as he ventured farther into the dark kitchen, his eyes focused on hers. "I didn't think you ventured out where the people where." He stated seriously, shifting to lean against the counter, his arms crossed against his chest. She was a cute girl and he was a little disappointed he hadn't gotten a chance to weave his magic over her yet.
