I remember several small neighborhood bowling alleys, such as one on Columbus Ave in Tuckahoe, another near the hospital in Bronxville and there was one above Spadafore's Bar in Waverly Square, until a partial building collapse and it closed. The bar remained open. They all had about 8 lanes. Waverly Lanes was hugh and probably killed off the small ones.
