Hey, Dianthe!
I absolutely hate red, too! I just had my kitchen painted, though, and we decided to do one wall a reddish color. the color is by by Baer, and it's called Cinnabar. It's red enough that my husband loves it, and cinnamony enough that I love it, too! The other walls are also Baer, called Toasted Grain. When I moved into his house all the walls were white. I've done three rooms now, only a few left to go! Good luck! It's fun watching your house turn into a home that reflects both of you!
