In my experience where I work, I'd have to say that I agree. Even though the person was caught and convicted of shoplifting in one place(city or state), and then spotted in another store of the same company, yes, they do have the right to stop the individual(s)and have them arrested for tresspassing. Especially if the company has the proof from the previous incident then there shouldn't be a problem.
