It would be hard to believe that there are any LP boy/girls out there still working the floor that have not made a bad stop wether it was something you missed, or you where missing a step and took a chance? (tisk, tisk, tisk)

My first bad stop/ non productive incident, occured when I was on the cam's and I see this kid enter the store at a fast pace. He goes right back to the music dept, approaches a display, selects and CD, conceals it in his back pocket, heads towards the front and exits without paying. When I stopped his he kept saying "I brought it in with me, it's mine" back in the LP office he pulles it out and it was old and infact, his! ---- How did this happed? I had 100% obs? he had nothing in his hands and I saw him select from the display. When I rolled back the video, he had been in 10 prior and set his CD on the display while he looked at another, he left his CD behind.

What I saw was him running back into the store to retrieve his CD that he left behind. I didn't agree that it was a bad stop since I had all of my eliments of proof, but I was written up for a bad stop anyway.
