 Hafer, write your own patent and then I'll revise and file it for you. And by file, I mean give you the address to the PTO.

Here's a cost estimate I did for a client last month based on 17 hours of my work:

COST ESTIMATE

OFFICIAL FEES:

Filing Fee (small entity): $ 500.00
Excess Claim Fee (over 20): 0.00

Total: $500.00


SUGHRUE FEES:

Attorney Fees: $5,000.00
Filing Application (fixed): 580.00

Total: $5,580.00


Estimated cost for filing an application $6,080.00.


POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL FEES:

Excess Claim Fee
-any claim over 20 $25.00/claim
-any independent claim over 3 50.00/independent claim
Late Assignment Fee 190.00
Information Disclosure Statement 280.00


Essentially, you'd need $500 to file if you're under 21 claims and I didn't charge you for anything.

I land in Vegas at 2 pm thus, not sure if it's that important to get bombed during the flight. People at night should since they can jump right into things. I imagine most of the Wednesday crew will be sober at 2, nursing their wounds from the night before. Please please correct me if I'm wrong.
