Joo still has me owned, as of right now.
No idea what my title is yet, but will fill everyone in as I do.

As for housing, I have no idea how that's going to work out. Depending on how much moving expenses they give me, I might just put my shit in storage for the 1st week and and scout places while living in a hotel and hopefully sign a lease within the week. The good news with this is that when the company relocates you, they give you 3 days vacation time to "look for a new residence" and then they give you 5 days of vacation time to "relocate from your old residence to your new residence." So, that 1st week in KC while at a hotel could be all on company time and not at all taken from my regular vacation time.

Or....

I could use those 3 designated "scouting" days from March 21-23 and then not have to use my real vacation time for the Vegas trip. That would be wholly underhanded and not in the company's best interest, but rad as hell.

Quickly, things I am not looking forward to:
1. Breaking the news to D2.
2. Breaking the news to B, who still e-mails me daily and is totally holding out hope for us.
3. Less frequent PSU trips.
4. Doing the find new friends thing all over again.
5. Weather- they have tornados and bad ice storms.
6. Back to renting for now.

Things that are awesome:
1. Will be able to live closer to work, adding 2 hours of free time to each of my days.
2. No longer having to pay $1K+ mortgage payment every month.
3. Steaks, BBQ, blues music.
4. Continued living in the middle of nowhere.
5. The Plaza- supposedly a bitching young yuppie area of KC, full of bars and restaurants. I hope to become a regular.
6. Working with- gasp!- people under 30?!? Hell, people under 50!?!

I have no idea where I'l be living, in MO or KS, but I assure you it will be one of them. (Matters?)
