It's cool Tony, I must continue my debate on whether to go or not. High of 58 with 30% chance of rain. I only know of Tracie (the girl I allegedly made out with at Penn State), her bf and her other (male) roomates who are going. Chances are, I'll sleep and save a day full of drinking for the actual holiday. At most, a game time decision. It's Thursday and I will boarding my plane at this time 2 weeks from this moment.

There is no shame in selectively flipping up the green card after about 15 rounds of meat. I agree that the Ribeye is mighty delicious. The sea salt they season it in is amazing. I hope no one made the mistake of going heavy on the salad bar before the meat came. Mmmmmm.

Heaves, it looks like I need to work this weekend so I'm not gonna make it to DC. I'm disappointed too because it looks like shorts weather on saturday.

I'm Super Excited for Saturday morning. THUNDERPAW!!!!
Since I don't leave people hanging with teaser posts, Thunderpaw is the coed touch football team that Poyser runs. Joe is also on it. The weather looks amazing. I need to find my cleats.

Who knew eating 10 pounds of meat would cure my illness but it did. It's a pretty intense experience when you flip your button from red to green (meaning you want more meat) because every waiter in the vicinity rushes to your table and your plate is once again full with a mountain of delicious. Everything was going well until the Ribeye, one of their thickest cuts. It was about an hour and a half in our consumption when served this meat and it almost meant the end for me. I warned Lukey NOT to eat it, but he did and fell victim. He said uncle and was out of contention. I on the other hand sat patiently for another 15 minutes until I saw my favorite cuts come about. During which time, the waiters seriously thought we were planning our escape. I was somewhat offended. I just wanted to digest a bit and wait for my damn meat! Damnit! We were on close watch but finally more meat arrived. I acutally asked specifically for a certain cut because I did not dare flip to green. I finally decided to call it quits when turtle heads started to poke. Yup, gotta go I said. Got home and I believe this was the meat forcefully removing the illness from my body.

Side note: it was strange but there was at least one hot chick at every table (besides ours). I don't know how I feel about these women trying to eat all you can eat meat but, hey, they are probably senator's daughters and eat there at the expense of their fathers. Good for them.

14 - Th TWO WEEK WARNING

it's international women's day, so smack a bitch.

yea, south park was alright last night. i felt they could have made the episode a bit tighter, but all in all i can't complain. cartman fighting a midget was interesting.

heaves/lukey, how was your "being stuffed full of meat" adventure?

today is a monumental day. besides being national whore day or whatever, today marks the first time, in a long time, that my daily gatorade will be any flavor other than fruit punch. take a moment to let that sink in.... how did this ask you may (but probably not) ask? well, the other day when i went to the store to reload on my daily work snack items, i found myself staring down an empty spot where the delicious red gold usually sits. simply put, they were out. after about 15 minutes of deliberation, i settled on a replacement, fierce grape. who knows how it's fierce, or why it's not even purple (more of a bluish/violet). i just hope it's half as good as my usual staple. you're all now dumber having read this.

my poor duquesne dukes are out of contention for the big dance, having dropped a 77-76 decision to st. louis.... tragic.

Understand this...I am at work so when I say my monitor was replaced, it means it was replaced via the firm at no expense to me. The extra inches, like many things in life, makes a huge difference (e.g., joo v. chins dong). I can now comfortably view 2 documents side by side each other, a common practice in doing lawyerly things.

"i hate duke and hope this year is just the beginning of a long streak of them sucking."

- our incoming class is sick. and we still have the possibility of landing another top 50 recruit. also paulus will never be great but hes playing much better now although that may be because he has lowered my expectations to the lowest they can go with his previous play. scheyer is better as a freshman than redick was. henderson is going to be a stud once he starts exerting as much energy on defense as he does on offense and earns PT from coach k. mcroberts im pretty sure is staying and will be a stud next year when he will be able to get out of playing as the primary post player.

next year we wont leave the top 10 and will be entering the tourney as a 1 seed again. unless weird things happen like durant, oden, and a couple of the florida guys or kansas guys return. anyhow,, no way we enter as less than a 2.

get steel. graphite costs more and generally isnt even worth it. graphite only makes a difference if you have a swing suited for it. many people fork out the extra dough because it is lighter but the lighter club doesnt even really help them because of the way the swing.

heres the thing, graphite is lighter which should produce more club speed. But many people have fundamental flaws in their swing where they wont even experience any gain in speed because theyre not really accelarating and following through on their downswing correctly anyways.

Personally I prefer the steel because the added weight gives you more 'feel' on the takeaway and at the top. Really the best way to improve your club speed is the improve your technique. Graphite is really intended to give you that extra oomph in your swing. But if you dont have a decent swing to start it wont do anything. Many people buy it thinking it will be a magic fix to their swing, thats why it sells so well with high handicappers and why they can charge more for it. And its funny because in my opinion I think high handicappers would benefit more from the steel.

i'm glad i'm not the only one that is pissed off when the stupid verification thing asks me to guess between l and I (but without the obvious differences present when typing messages on the board). it's a friggin straight line, how in the hell are we supposed to know what it is?

i was sad to hear they found the blood clot in cheney's leg. i was hoping it'd travel to his brain and seriously maim the moron.

the foul in the duke game was totally blatant and intentional. what's his face (the guy calling the game who's name i can't think of at this moment) was totally off when he said how it was an accident and other such garbage. i mean come on, get duke's dick out of your mouth for a few seconds and view the event as it actually appeared, a hard blatant attempt to smack the bescience out of the big goofy white dude on your arch rival's team. i was hoping a rumble would ensue (especially since it was at chapel hill and most likely duke players would be seriously hurt). i hate duke and hope this year is just the beginning of a long streak of them sucking.

heaves, meat cures sissy disease. don't be a pansy. also, get me on a kickball team. i'd own, given my science-like soccer skillz. i also apologize for my reference to the bible storybook character known as god. i do hear, however, that god and clifford the big red dog like to chill.

Wilson Staff Ci6 irons

Nike Slingshot Tour irons

Callaway X-18 irons

Ping g5 irons

Cleveland CG4 irons

Mizuno MX-900 irons

Taylor Made R7 XD irons

Heaves these ran around 700-800 during the 2006 season except for the Mizunos which ran around 1k. With the new models coming out for 07' you should be able to get these at your price range. Id be extremely surprised if you werent. I play the clevelands and I bought them at the start of the 06 season for 649.99. I like the clevelands alot. Ive heard extremely good things about the wilsons as well. I actually tried hitting those a bit as well and liked them alot too. Also Ive heard good things about the taylor made and mizunos. pings are generally really good with their irons but I heard the g5 irons were average. as were the callway and nike.

I would try and get the wilson's as it is regarded as one of the top clubs of 2006 (for higher handicap irons many regard them as the best).

I've got nothing today, save for a few things. Just an FYI.

- I don't care what you say, the 'Pool will dominate in the Round of 8 (and on).
- Bush is garbage. Everything he touches turns to gayness and shit.
- I agree wholly with Evan regarding the board. Not gay at all and needed to be said (even it was the 4th or 5th time it's been said).
- In 2 weeks, this post will read I'm out of here in an hour or 2 and on my way to Vegas in 5 or 6. Giggity.
- I'd take HGH. In fact, I cannot wait for those smart medical people to come up with steroids that are actually good for you and make you live longer. I'll be all over them.
- Henderson's hit on Hansbrough- intentional or no? I say he intended to foul him very, very hard but I say he wasn't necessarily going for the face.
- I absolutely despise when the captcha thing on this message board makes me guess between an upper case "I" and a lower case "l". They look the same with that silly font!
- I hate it worse when I guess wrong.

Lukey, I'm in for the meat but I must warn that I've been slightly sick the past 3 days. Nothing major, no shakes, no chills, no intense fever (maybe a slight one) but my neck has ached and my head doesn't like when I move it from side to side. Maybe meningitis...that would be cool. Since I know how nervous you get around people who could get you sick, maybe I'll have to bow out of tonight's meat festivities.

Also, it's tought to find out which teams have girls and how many of these girls might actually be cute. sigh.

Hafer, pardoning people on the way out of the presidency happens all the time. Deal with it. Also, they convicted Libby on the silliest charges ever. He is only guilty of not lawyering-up, despite in fact being a lawyer, fast enough.

Also, given that we are doing a live draft for the NCAA thing, consider me out. I am too busy for a live draft and it takes too much of the little free time that I have.

I love the names coming out in the HGH scandal yesterday. Such high profile people like John Rocker, David Bell, and Kurt Engel. If anything, these asses just make me want to avoid HGH not take it.

The Mavs clinched a playoff spot last night. That's kinda silly considering it is the first week of March.

I am sorry to gay up the board a little, but Joe and I were talking about this in the car ride home from PSU.

I wanted to personally give thanks to Tony for coming up with this board. There are so many people I talk to from college that have so much truble keeping in touch with their buddies, and at many times they don't.

Think about all the good times we wouldn't have had if it weren't for this board. More importantly, think about the fact that we would not be in touch with each other as well as we are. So many people out there get together with "old friends" and wate half of the time catching up, which can even sometimes lead to "awkward moments."

We are all leading separate lives, yet it feels like we never left. We have Tony to thank for that.

Let it never be said that your nerdiness, Tony, never yielded extremely positive results.

Thank you.

Normally when you retire, you have more free time. Thus I'd expect him to golf a whole lot more. I wouldn't be buying him clubs if he was only going to golf once a year. He has clubs, from 1974. Still, I doubt he'll be playing once a week either. Probably once a month in season. We're looking to update pretty much everything. $600 is just what we're willing to spend to get the job done. I looked online and know prices can be from about 200-500, just need some direction in which clubs people would recommend.

Heaves, it really depends on what kind of golfer (experience and how much he plays) your dad is.

Driver: RPM Redline $250 - This Driver has weights on the head, which can be rearranged based to optimize the shot based on your type of swing. Are they PGA legal? Not sure, but it doesn't matter.
Irons: I have Acuity's, but they're a starter set. You can get a decent pair for less than $250. Not everything needs to be top of the line to play well.
A good putter can be easily less than $60. Mine was $30 and I love it.

Other questions: What equipment does he already have? Does he have shoes? Gloves? Bag? Might seem like stupid questions, but I don't know much about your Dad's golfing background. BTW, Happy Retirement to your Dad!!!

We gotta make sure there are good gay strip clubs around for Tony.

My dad is retiring this year and the family wants to get him a set of clubs to knock around with (he's probably golfed 12 times in last 15 years). Our budget is probably around $600. Advise and suggest on something decent we could get at that price (or less). It's not enough to get individual clubs but it should be able to land a decent set.

I'm sorry but I would like to remain heterosexual when I leave LV. I read the article for the Art of Shaving:

"After these dual shaves, the master barber applies a rejuvenating and cooling after-shave mask. He then removes the mask with natural sea sponges soaked in fragrant lemon oil and follows with a cold, lavender oil-infused towel wrap."

what jono said. however, i would pay someone $30 to shave my pubes... as long as said individual was a hot chick that was encouraged by her superiors to fondle and grope in the course of her job duties. that'd be worth it. paying someone to remove hair from my face is not.

jono, that is very gay. i'm predicting a high scoring game, it's just a feeling i have... which probably means a 0-0 tie.

this is really random but oh well. today at the gym, as i was taking a weight off the rack, i somehow managed to stub my thumb. that shit hurts. i had forgotten how much doing that sucks. that's all.

Meeting from 2-3pm today meaning I miss the 1st half of the game. Gayness. Hopefully its 0-0 and I don't really miss much. (I'd also take Liverpool ahead 1-0, 2-0, ...)

Also, Joe, how many times must be gayify you and others for being upset that no one commented on a post? We all read it and due to the lack of comments all probably thought it was retarded. Call me crazy, but I'm not spending money to get a shave or spa treatment when I'm in the sin capital of the world. Maybe in a few years when I actually need a break from life and those things will warrant me dropping $50+ on each just so I can relax will I even consider them, but right now, Vegas = drinking, women, gambling, NCAA tourney, strip clubs, clubs, late night food, friends.

Sorry to bust on you man, but I'm just not into a $30 shave, $100 spa treatment or .

Ah, Tuesday. I hope that this week is going by quickly for everyone and that people are having better days than Jack Bauer. I am going to be away from my desk for most of this week so posts are going to be at a minimum. As for the NCAA Fantasy Pool, I would prefer we not have a live draft. It's really tough for me to set aside that much time on a week night to have a live draft. Typically, I don't get home until 8-9. I can maybe get home at 7 at the earliest but the last thing I feel like doing is drafting a team for 2+ hours. Can we just do a pick players thing? We can iron out the details of this further after we gauge everyone's interest. I just think this would interest a lot more people than the live draft method.

Also, how dare no one post any comments regarding my Art of Shaving post. I am so going to get one of these things done in LV. Anyone who doesn't go with me is going to be called a Silly Goose - that's for sure.

I think they are selling Beckham's knee on eBay. Soccer is just silly - however, I do think it is something that I could get into. But it's March and I must follow college basketball.

Poyser, I am excited about the start of football this Saturday. Also, I am now certain I will be renting in the city to get the experience of big city livin' for at least year before purchasing a property. I am just not ready to take care of an entire house and do not have enough money to put down/finance a nice new condo. Also, I am not sure we have hit the bottom of the housing bublle yet. So, that's that. I am going to start looking at places in Old City as soon as possible.

Fantasy Baseball - ideal scoring. How about this for a 5x5 scoring system. I was in a heated discussion with an acquaintance the other day about scoring the league. What about these categories.

Batting:
OPS
HR
RBI
SB
R

Pitching:
WHIP
ERA
Saves
K
Wins

'Pool #1: Liverpool. Give me updates. I'm going to watch the first 30 minutes live in our break room, then repeatedly check back as often as possible so that it appears that I am doing actual work.

Pool #2: Fantasy March Madness. I assume we are doing it as we did last year with the draft and all. But I propose the other situation we discussed last year where we all just select our own teams as long as they fall into the following category: 4 from the 1-4 seeds, 4 players from the 5-8 seeds, 4 players from 9-16 seeds. I realize this will get shot down, but I would like to try this at least once.

Also, see if Vert and Yen want to get in. Hafer, too. Those guys were in it last year.

Butts, me, lee, jono (assuming), matt (from psu)

Much like last year, we are thinking of doing the draft next Tuesday night over im. Gives everyone monday for research and gives us wednesday to compile everything. I was just planning on doing $20 bucks again.

Speaking of Matt, Vic talked to him the night Maryland crushed Duke and they agreed to combine a bracket pool to increase its size. It will also be $20 bucks - Vic might be able to fill in more details.

Heaves - meat reservation is for 8. We are looking to get there about 7:45.

State your prefence and we'll discuss off the board some time. The jumper will cost $70 more each, the rental about $40 each and Hafer about $15 each. Are we picking up D2 along the way? The drive is about 2 hours from either PIT or CLE and so that doesn't really save time and could actually be longer for one of us. Because Hafer doesn't really want to drive us but he will bow to our will and the rental doesn't save much time or money, I concluded that flying to Erie might be the best option.

Heaves, if you do all of the conversions at once, the old mp3 songs will be highlighted in your Library playlist with the new AAC files right below it's mp3 copy. All you have to do is then press delete, and it will delete all of the highlighted, i.e. mp3, files that you had selected before you clicked on the "convert to AAC" option. When I get new music, this is how I do it (although to a much, much smaller degree, i.e. 15 songs or less).

Heaves, you're killing me with this Erie BS. Let me know what you decide, then I'll probably have to follow suit. Sigh.

Went to a wedding with the SheJoo this Sat. Didn't know anyone, and the music was so gay and lame I got dizzy twice (country and eay listening - if you disagree, then fucking kill yourself..now). Thank god for the open bar. About 10 Rum and cokes later, I was rocking on the dance floor to eighties music, only to have the SheJoo drive my drunk ass home while I repeatedly said Dushan Mandic for no apparent reason.

It's sick to know that Jono will be paying 60% less in rent than I am.

I'd love JFIII to be in KC. Possibly unfortunate is I have June 9, July 21, Sept 1 weddings and a nephew/niece along the way due late July. I probably won't be doing Artsfest this year. A KC August trip might be doable but I won't know til closer to that time. Worse case, we chip in and fly Jono to Philly or DC.

Yes, a file type search...excellent. I was hoping there was such a thing. I didn't get the chance to look into that yet. The AAC conversion for 4,000 songs will take forever.

Tony, I am still considering Shamrockfest largley due to rain in the forecast which would absolutely blow. But I'd definitely be ready to commit in if you want to come down. If we decide not to go, you are still welcome to come down. Tix are here http://www.shamrockfest.com/buytickets.html, and the VIP thing is not entirely a bad deal depending on how much we're drinking. VIP many separate us too much from the masses however. Let me know your thoughts.

Chin, recalculate please.

Saturday night I went to a private bday party for a friend of a friend. It was in a smaller room at a bar and for 3 hours we had $20 all you can drink (AYCD) and meatballs. It was glorious. The chick was also friends of the girlfriend of bday boy. She was very cute and other than the hole in her nose, was a great match for me. I was in a good mood and was feeling exceptionally witty and charming. I decided being too picky gets me no where so I stuck up a conversation.

As for junk in the face, I guess if the face is cute enough and the look works, then it doesn't bother me all that much. As long as it's not excessive and can be removed at some point in the future. I guess it all depends. The two girls I know who have this trend, have great bodies and cute faces. They probably also love anal. The sacrifices I make for you guys...

I got a call from Lukey last night saying the meat coma has been postponed til Wednesday.

Hooray, wedding gifts.

Do you ever stay up real late so that morning doesn't "arrive" faster. Yup, that was my last night. Watching the wire til 1:30a.

The thought of a bald Britney running around in her hospital gown proclaiming she's the anitchrist gives me an anticlue, but it sure makes me smile. KFed forever.

As anticipated, the weekend was not a cheap one. iPod was procured, treated my parents to dinner and went out both nights. I had a blast on Saturday.

Oh, for Hafer...I didn't go out with the chick I said I might be going out with Friday. However, I got digits from another one and this one's nose is pierced...her boobs are fantastic and seems very intelligent. Said she just started seeing someone (an hour or two after we've been talking) but when I asked for her number later (2 or 3 hours after we've been talking), she gave it to me. This was not constant talking, but the zig-zag technique (which I love) was in effect. Consider yourself informed.

My iPod question of the day is....when I convert to AAC, why does it create a 'duplicate'? Is there a way not to do this so I don't have 2 of the same song? Or is there an easy way to sort and delete by file type?

A goal in the 95th minute. I can't even discuss this. Say goodbye to the alredy slim hopes of winning the Premiership, Liverpool. They played so well, too. Insanely frustrating ending to that game. At least I've got a Champions League game at Anfield to look forward to on Tuesday afternoon. They're winning the Champions LEague, by the way. That's a nice consolation, no?

Weekend was tight. Went out for beers both nights with friends, slept in until noon both days just because. Went to Pittsburgh, got a free dinner and picked up D2's new car all while buying 2 new pairs of work pants and a new pair of running shoes.

Watched Kansas-Texas in the meantime and gasped when Durant went down and then repeatedly shook my head at his gimpy and tentative play when he returned on the bad ankle. For all I care, pump that skinny bastard full of cortizone or something b/c we need him in the tourney.

Speaking of, I have no idea who's going to win it all. I'd say Kansas, but they're Kansas. Texas A&M is spicey. But then again, Durant can pull a 'Melo a just carry Texas all the way. I'm excited. Especially for Thursday morning in Vegas when it's 9am and I'm already drinking and praying for OSU or Wisconsin to not cover the spread...

I'm honestly thinking about boycotting movies in theaters. Seriously. Fucking Norbit makes $30M+ a few weeks ago and now this weekend Wild Hogs fucking makes $38M+. I'd rather be caught in the same theater as people who pay to see that shit. I will only go to independent/art theaters to see indie movies or I'll wait for DVDs. This is ridiculous. America is simply full of retards. No wonder we're all going to be so successful.

great weekend of bball action (especially since duke lost and bucknell advanced to the finals of the patriot league tournament). this, of course, brings us to the beginning of the insane stretch of bball action leading up to the crowning of a new champion. i freakin' love march. i do not, however, love the fact i have a test on thursday. studying is for the birds.

so how did everyone's weekend go? mine was very... umm.. relaxing. caruso came up with her dog and we pretty much laid around and watched movies. the highlight fell on saturday when i took caruso out to tour the battlefields. to make the experience better, there just happened to be tons of reenactors out and about (i have no idea why). i feel bad for the little kids who are forced to dress up with mommy and daddy. they don't even have a chance to ever get laid. this weekend i get to go home for b-day festivities. party.

so the ahman (sp?) green trade to the texans is surprising. i thought he'd be a packer for life. the thomas trade to ne pisses me off because i hate to see the pats get better. science, i hate them. i hope brady gets his leg snapped in half during his first pre-season appearance. is that too much to ask?

this is the last full week for me for a month. knowing you have 4 consecutive work weeks with only 4 days, with a vegas trip thrown in for good measure, gives me a massive clue. hooray.

jono, sorry to see the 'pool can't hold their own against a 10 man man u team. i mean letting john o'shea score? in the 95th minute? they suck.

speaking of sucking, tottenham were shit against west ham but still managed to pull out a 4-3 win in a very exciting game. i was jumping all over the place. high drama.

random note, field of dreams has been rotated into the hbo viewing schedule. i plan on watching it about 36,000 times. also, does anyone know if south park is back for the new season? if so, are they still airing on wednesday's at 10? info needed.

Tony has the understanding that he is not getting a free trip to LV. This is a trip to LV for all of the PSU guys. One of the nights we are out there is going to be Tony's bachelor party. Tony can get lapdances/drinks from all of us. He does not expect us to pick up the tab on this hotel room.

In other LV news, consider these:

Prop bets

Some prop bets to think about next time you hit up your local poker room.

You probably all know the obvious props: pick a card or two or three and get paid when it hits the flop, pick suits, etc. Here are a few more:

Each of you pick one card in the deck including a suit (i.e. two of hearts). When that card hits the flop, you get paid $x. If it hits the turn, you get paid $(5x). If it hits the river, you get paid $(10x). It is obviously harder to hit the turn than the flop. It is a little harder to hit the river than the turn becuase you'll see a few less river cards because of people pushing others out of the hand. It'll make the river card more exciting for you even if you're not in the hand.

One person picks a strange word. The other person tries to get the dealer to say that word but can't tell the dealer about the bet or use the phrase "What is..." or anything close to it. For example if the word is laptop, you can't say "What is the word for a computer you stick on your lap again?" The word can't be obscene or frowned upon. This one can be hysterical!

Heaves - i'll be back in atown next week during shamrockfest.

Cars - to add to the cars mentioned, i really like the top end accord coupe and the nissan maxima (the altima has replaced it as more of the family sedan turning the maxima into more of a sports car). I actually do not like the Lexus IS - I'm just not a fan of toyota/lexus.

Sorry that I have not been posting. Things have been insane here, and I am preparing to go out on the road as a outside salesman ($$$$$) in the next 6 months and help grow our commercial business. Needless to say, I have been pulling 16+ hour days this entire week.

Jono - I have been inside the TL Type S, the BMW 3 series, and the Lexus IS (250 and 350 are the same except for paddle shifters, and a different engine, suspension, and drivetrain). Here some summaries:

1) If you want the ultimate driving experience with regards to performance, go with the 3 series BMW
2) If you want a perfect combination package of sportiness, style, and roominess for 4 (comfort), go with the TL Type S
3) If you want something crazy stylish with some balls, and don't mind squeezing a little bit, then go with the IS.

Essentially, here are some things you want to, or already have, considered:

1) Cost to Lease (How much do you plan to put down)
2) Gas
3) Insurance
4) Repairs and Maintenance

You want a nice car, but you don't want to be just getting by paycheck to paycheck every time, either. Then again, you could be making 6 figures now and I could be totally off.

Tony / Joe - I heard some interesting things about Mencia stealing shit from other comedians, and I heard that Dane Cook stole a lot of shit from Louis C.K.

a just response to jono's gay post. seriously, what the hell? queer.

st. patty's is a duty, not a right. you need to celebrate the birth of st. patrick (no idea if this is why it's st. patty's day) just like you celebrate the birth of the lbj (joo aside). if you decide to take the day off you're pretty much a failure and should look into checking into nursing homes.

tony, how are you preparing for vegas? i mean you know we're all going to go our of our way to kick your ass, right? you simply cannot say "no, i don't want to drink that," or, "no, i don't want another lappie." it's all about saying yes.

1. Hafer, read your stories closer. Manning is hosting on March 24. Not tomorrow night.
2. I never EVER take a pass on St. Patty's Day. To me, it's a warm-up for T.I.T.S. I will either be in Pittsburgh or in the Columbus area. I have yet to decide. Pittsburgh would be more fun, but if I don't hit Columbus soon, I won't get the chance to hang out with my good friends down there before I head off to KC.

OK, a third, too.

Jono, you're NOT going?? Happy now? Faggot.

Hafer, 0%. My reason...it falls under the law of gay which recites all things gay shall not be trademarked. There's tons of "big games" out there. Realizing there are dances out there too (in regards to the Big Dance) but how many of them are "Big"? Only one that I know of.

On that note, I'm going to trademark "the big dong", commercially I'd then have to sell or market "the big dong" which may or may not be illegal in 49 states.

It's my bday too. Big Ben and I share everything now.

McHale is a pussy. It's that simple.

Jealous of Hafer and his getty-fab taco bell. I had to settle for a #6 at Wendy's.

Vic, how do you want it? Check or up the crack?

totally the correct move. drinking is far above helping people move. the fact you even considered it is a sign of weakness. the only reason you'd ever help a chick move is that she's: a) sleeping with you; b) going to sleep with you before, during, and after the move; or c) she's going to arrange for a 3-some with her and her incredibly hot chick friend at a time to follow soon thereafter. that's it.

The resemblence is quite striking. Well the girls surely are not smart ones since they did not flee to mexico. Seriously, sunglasses? That's not going to do. Definitely the type that would lock their keys in the getaway car before going in to rob the place.

Today sucks because I have to work. Today is awesome because tomorrow I don't. Parents are dropping in tomorrow, of whom I'll probably be treating to dinner. Figured I have some making up to do from the past 25 years. Tonight I have options. Too many options. Originally I was going to a good bye/happy hour for one of the partners leaving the firm. Good guy and all. This was going to lead to many many drinks throughout the night with my fellow co-workers who like to get sauced. Of course, a broad I talk to every now and then dropped a big hint yesterday that she wasn't doing anything tonight. So I was seemingly forced to invite her into my evening plans whatever they may be now. Everything is up for grabs but I do believe she wants to hang out with me and friends. I was not planning on going home after work til real late. Now I guess I do, killing a good hour or two of drinking time. As always, my weekend will not be cheap.

My car is 10 years old now, 6 of which were mine. I drive 0 miles to work and I only use it for trips to stores, restaurants and weekend trips. I figure it'll be 2-3 more years before I consider anything newish. With that said, I have no idea what I'll want to purchase at that time. Glad I could offer useless information (again). Leasing sounds cool though. Get something freakish, like a Corolla.

I believe B's story. I also believe you'll never see her again. Congrats.

He's a Scouser through and through. He'll never leave the 'Pool. Anf of course I remember the game, but FSC NEVER- I repeat NEVER- shows Liverpool EPL games. The only Liverpool games I've actually seen live this year were the Champions League ones (tape delayed) and the Community Shield right before the EPL season kicked off. It pisses me off so bad. Instead, I get to see every fucking Spurs, Man U, Chelsea, Middlesbrough and Arsenal games (excpet the ones when they play 'Pool, of course). I'm not sure why this is, but that's how it goes down in my area.

So, I'll get to watch the highlights on the EPL Review show Sunday night and read all about it, but that's it. Tell me you get to see this game. If so, how?

No way I am ever buying a new car. But I'd lease one. I haven't had a car payment since January of 2006, but I would like a new ride. Hence my leaning towards a lease or a 1-2 year old used coming off a lease, as Joey mentioned.

B/D2 update: B actually e-mailed me, apologized for acting all crazy and basically said it just hurt her to see me out with someone else. Also, she said it wasn't planned (I called her on it) and was there to cover a story on the "Paris Hilton of Eastern Euorpe." I buy this because all over the bar were signs for this new drink from Holland and they made various references to the concert/new drink party being thrown by some chick with a Euro sounding name. B said she new of the party and where it was at, but never cared to look at the band playing because she cares little about music (which is very true), hence her never mentioned the Gil Mantera appearance to me. I believe her, because when I ran into her she had her notebook out and was taking notes and the "trap plan" I laid down yesterday never sounded like her to begin with. Just an FYI.

Jono, hilarious stories. Thank you for bringing so much enjoyment to my ordinary boring life. As for the car question, I just recently paid mine off and pondered what my next car would be. I really have no desire to get a new one because I drive 5 miles a day. However, if I were to go out and get a car, I certainly would not buy a brand spanking new one. It's completely unnecessary for me at this point in life. I would much rather let someone else put those expensive miles on the car. I would look for something coming off of a 2/3 year lease with 20k-ish something miles on it. I love the Cadillac CTS or some freakishly hot Lexus. I imagine a car like that and a new to the Jono area would be freakish.

They don't scare me. That's what tornado insurance is for.

My weekend is also lame and full of cheapness. Tonight, I'm hanging out in Akron with either my old neighbors, D2 or a combination of both. Tomorrow, I'm heading to Pittsburgh with D2 so she can pick up the new car (Ford Fusion) that she purchased this past weekend.

Speaking of, I have a mission for the board. After my move, due to the salary increase (supposed) and the signifiacnt decrease in monthly bills (formerly a mortgage of $1100 + $60 assoc. fees + $27 sweage/trash fees to a rent check of about $700-$800) and the possibility of making a few bucks on the sale of my home, I will have a nice little bump in monthly income. Sure, this should go towards paying off some credit card bills, but it surely will not. My plan is to save a little and then in the spring or early summer, buy a (almost new) used car or lease a brand new car. I would lease b/c I will be driving no more than 15 miles to work every day and I will rarely, if ever, be driving anywhere to visit people (due to the ability to fly and the absolute absense of desire to drive the 10-15 hours it would take to see anyone I know). therefore, staying under the mileage will be no problem and then 3 years down the road I can see where I'm at and then either lease a new car again or buy something.

Your mission- tell me what to lease or buy. I have no clue and am not leaning towards anything right now, so all (reasonable) options will be taken into consideration.

so heaves, first things first, the necessary accessories for your ipod are - computer dock, ipod hifi, kick ass headphones used for travel purposes (bose noise cancelers, etc), and a case (if you're gay). if you get those you're golden. herpes.

lukey, would you ever consider one of those car key super magnet things? the type that you stick way up under the frame of your car? i know the entire key in wallet thing is easier, but it could fail if, like you said, you locked your wallet in your car as well. the downfall to such a magnet thing is obvious, car theft, but who really goes around crawling under cars looking for a key magnet that may or may not be present?

basketball last night. unc plays like crap. uva poised to take the acc. utah upsets nevada... woo. most importantly, bucknell wins, setting up a sunday semifinal contest against army. a win and they'll likely play holy cross for the trip to the dance. very exciting stuff.

nice to see tornado season is already in full swing. have fun out there, jono.

so the weekend is almost upon us, that means it's time to reveal weekend plans. my weekend is going to be lame (all in an attempt to save money for vegas). i plan on going out with a fellow clerk tonight for a wild time in gettysburg. tomorrow, caruso is coming up with my gf, oreo, and we're making food. hooray. sunday, i'm kicking them out and laying on my couch watching basketball. i'm very excited.

Hafer, write your own patent and then I'll revise and file it for you. And by file, I mean give you the address to the PTO.

Here's a cost estimate I did for a client last month based on 17 hours of my work:

COST ESTIMATE

OFFICIAL FEES:

Filing Fee (small entity): $ 500.00
Excess Claim Fee (over 20): 0.00

Total: $500.00

SUGHRUE FEES:

Attorney Fees: $5,000.00
Filing Application (fixed): 580.00

Total: $5,580.00

Estimated cost for filing an application $6,080.00.

POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL FEES:

Excess Claim Fee
-any claim over 20 $25.00/claim
-any independent claim over 3 50.00/independent claim
Late Assignment Fee 190.00
Information Disclosure Statement 280.00

Essentially, you'd need $500 to file if you're under 21 claims and I didn't charge you for anything.

Like an AAA meeting, hello my name is Heaves and I too have herp of the lip. Most of you knew this so it's not really a coming out. The person who may not have known is the person who seems to single me out in all things Herp. Yes, you Hafer. Not that I mind, it only makes me feel 99% awesome when it's brought up as opposed the the 100% 99% of the time. Thus Jono, no worries, it's a very common condition. It also brings gay chicken to a whole other level. Who here has kissed Jono? Tony? Joo?

So I suppose you are all wondering how a guy like me got such a precarious disease. Good question. I've had it for as long as I could remember but didn't realize it was an STD til college. Always thought cold sores were something that you got when Science was hating me for no reason. Anyways, could have been from high school, could have been freshman year, could have been from playing with "my little ponies" with the girl up the street when I was 6. Who knows. What I do know is my balls have started itching about 2 minutes ago for no reason whatsoever.

i once had an idea of doing a t-shirt online store where much like the ideas we were coming up with during the michigan game, the store specializes in selling inappropriate T-shirts in your teams colors directed at your team's rival. Thus osu colored shirts bashing michigan with some of the ideas we came up with. or duke colored shirts bashing UNC. so on so forth. There may already be something like this out there but nothing to the level of what I am imagining and if there is I dont know about it. You kinda start small but if you do it right it could turn kinda big. Just an idea that once popped in my head. obviously will never happen.

ahh, tony, that makes more sense. as far as i know after checking out the regs, you can booze all you want on a plane as long as you don't create a dangerous situation. my suggestion is going to one of those booze kiosks and investing in a bottle of booze and a bottle of mixer.

tony, why were you looking in my direction? am i an expert in drunken plane travel? if so, who did you hear this from? i must thank them.

i'd go with jono's second option, pre-flight boozing. everyone on a vegas flight is a few drinks into the bag due to the awesomeness of their destination. when in rome. so here's the plan, get to the bar early, tell the bartender, loudly and while standing beside dudes that look like they're slightly toasted, that you're getting married and on your way to vegas. you should get at least one free drink out of this exchange. if not, question the hetrosexualtiy of those around.

jono, the grain drink sounds like our friend, mr. call a cab, from south beach. i miss and love him.

jono2, the herp, eh? so that explains how i got it! you told me you were clean! i'm very happy to hear you gave them to satan. may they fester in her meaty nether region.

Ring stewardess button.
Pay $5.
Drink beer/liquor.

Possibly mention you're getting married and you might get a free one or two.

Other suggestion- get to airport an hour earlier and get hammered at a bar. There is a Fat Tuesday in the Cleveland Airport that has gotten my drunkess underway every time I've gone to Vegas due to the 180 Octane beverage. That's a slushie with grain alcohol, by the way. Find a place like that and you're golden.

First, after the awkward hello while I was on the phone, she was like "was that an ex?" I said, "yeah, sorry" and she simply shurgged it off.

Then, after the "I never want to talk to you again" storm out of the bar, I repeated my "I'm sorry" sentiments to D2 which she shrugged off. Then she call got a call and before she went outside to take it, she said "She's not going to be out there to stab me or something, right?"

Finally, at the end of the night, I again apologized for the randomness and the awkwardness and she said "Stop apologizing. It's fine. Girls are retarded."

And that was that. I was impressed.

Re: Tony's following sentence- "If anyone is at fault it is B for opening your eyes and ears to Gil Mantera and his show of awesomeness" She did not open my eyes to this. I went with date b/c I never thought I'd run into her there, being that (a) she mates music, (b) she went to a previous Gil Mantera concert and wasn't a big fan and (c) she never mentioned to me, as a friend who she knew would like to attend, that this concert even existed. Just clearing that up.

Speaking of herpes, she who shall not be named has them. I gave them to her during my junior year when I went down south with a cold sore. Funny thing is, I never got them (as of last check, still without- YES!!!). Ha! Also, I never told you guys this because, well, it's not cool. But whatever. Hafer, ABSOULUTELY can a keg be your date. You just have to put one of those tuxedo t-shirts on it.

With regards to the invitations, please DISREGARD the directions included. The website has updated ones.

Jono, here are my three theories:
1. B had suspicions that you were dating someone else WHILE the two of you were still dating. She then confirmed these suspicions in that insane little mind of hers.
2. B had suspicions that you had a new girlfriend. B obviously was hoping to hang out with you because she is in disbelief that the two of you broke up. B now gets the picture and takes it harder than she expected. B has probably never been dumped before and she doesn't know how to take it.
3. B's little fantasy mind set up a GMPD/Get back with Jono night. Her dreams were unfortunately crushed when she saw you with D2. Then the cunt of a friend Lisa got her pissed at you, thus the text messages.

Any way - Closure. Jono, I know you're feeling bad about this but it wasn't your fault. If anyone is at fault it is B for opening your eyes and ears to Gil Mantera and his show of awesomeness. It's unfortunate that it had to end that way but that happens a lot when you don't cut it off immediately after the break up. You can never be friends again.

my favorite line was, "She even messaged me a few times expressing her distaste for D2 even though she doesn't know who she is or what our relationship entails."

what the hell? i love how women talk shit about perceived threats without possessing any knowledge about the person. there's a word for this type of behavior, that's right, crazy. i'm not exactly sure why b would be so upset seeing as how you, oh, i don't know, AREN'T GOING OUT WITH HER ANYMORE. but i guess i'm just a cold callused male possessing rational thoughts. so what if she still loves you, the feeling isn't reciprocated and, therefore, you have no duty to her. i mean what the hell are you expected to do? stop dating? stop splitting the uprights? ludicrous! women are insane. simple as that. i think you should get a pic of d2 slobbing your knob and send it to b as an f you present. should be enough to make her head explode.

so i'm sitting in on a case that's all about sewage. yea, it's shit.

It was 100% planned, therefore any pain you caused B is her fault since she should have known better. Anyways, that's one way to get closure. The "friends" thing only works in rare instances and gets exponentially more difficult to do the longer you date someone. For example, consider dating 1 week or 1 year. Anyways, Mr. Nice Jono was in effect and I understand that. It's hard to be cold when you are so nice. You're Mom raised you well. I probably would have done the same if the broad kept talking to me. Luckily for me, the last girl I dated completely hates my guts for ending things.

After a very, very long day yesterday I have returned. Let's skip back to Tuesday night.

So I had, for a few months, been planning on going to a Gil Mantera's Party Dream (GMPD from now on) concert up in Cleveland Heights on this date. This bar is located like a block from Becky's place, FYI. When I bought the tickets, I bougt two. I was either going to extend an offer to D2 to go or if she didn't want to be out late on a school night, I was potentially going to see if Becky wanted to hang out and watch the show (shut up- we chat sometimes and she's making a legitimate effort to be my friend, which I am totally OK with. I enjoy talking/e-mailing her, I just don't want to date, marry or have sex with her anymore. A BJ for old time's sake would be welcomed, though).

Anyway, as the weeks progressed from the time I bought the 2 tickets to the time of the concert, B had made no mention of even knowing the concert existed (another of my fears- that she'd know of the concert, go hoping to see me there and then seeing me with D2 and creating an awkward situation where I feel horrible) and I assumed had she known about it, she would have alerted me with her knowledge of my GMPD love and my desire to see them live at all opportunities. As of last Friday, I hadn't mentioned having the tickets or even knowing of the concert, neither did she.

At that point, D2 had come around and said she'd be happy to come with me, so she was my date for the evening. Upon arrival, as I re-enter my car to get more coins for the meter, I drop my keys and lock them in my car. This is a problem. Pissed off, we walk to the bar, I pound a $3.75 PBR tallboy and then we leave the bar to call AAA while the opening act was performing (who I didn't care to see) to try and get a tow truck to the scene to get my keys out of my car. Upon our exit of the bar, we pass B and her friend Lisa, I immediately feel awkward, say "hey" and simply keep walking.

As I'm on the phone with AAA standing outside the bar, B and Lisa walk up, B says "what are you doing in my neck of the woods" to which I can only respond with raising a finger to indicate that she must "wait" while I finish this call with AAA. I even interrupted the AAA person to tell B that I was there for the concert and I was on the phone trying to get my keys out of my locked car. She patiently waits, surveys the D2 situation, the 3 of them (D2, B and Lisa) introduce themselves to one another and there's more standing and not talking, except for me to the AAA person. I once again raise the "wait one sec" finger to which B says "we're leaving" and storms off with Lisa away from the bar. As she's walking away I see her shoulders heaving which indicated that she's crying and I see Lisa rubbing her shoulders and consoling her.

Skip to D2 and I going back into the bar while we wait for the two truck. We sip some drinks, watch the opening band and then to my surprise back in walks B and Lisa right by us without a look or a word. They walk to the opposite side of the bar and I catch B staring a few times. 20 minutes pass, B starts to approach with her coat on, says "I never want to talk to you ever again" and then storms out. I get a text 20 minutes later saying "Go to hell."

She has since ignored any text, e-mail or phone call since that moment. Now, call me an idiot for trying, but I geniunely like this girl as a friend even with our history. I know that shit barely works, but it felt like it was. I was trying to contact her to just see what was up (even though I basically know she's crushed to see me with someone else b/c she's admittedly still in love with me) and find out if a friendship could continue. Call me crazy or a fag or whatever, but that's what I wanted.

Anyway, here's my theory: Women are crazy and the whole night was essentially planned.

1. B had suspicion that I might be dating again based on the MySpace comments on my wall from D2. She even messaged me a few times expressing her distaste for D2 even though she doesn't know who she is or what our relationship entails.
2. B knows I love GMPD and knows I love to see them live. She works for a paper that reports on every concert in the area and has contacts with every venue in order to report the concert dates and times of every venue. Thus, she must've known GMPD was in town and that I'd absolutely go. Even with all of this assumed knowledge, there was not one mention since the day the concert was set (late January) to the day of the concert.
3. B knows that I would know about the concert, and didn't say anything to her because I didn't want her to know so she wouldn't be there the same time I as was.

Based on those 3 things I think she secretly knew I was going to the concert, assumed I was bringing someone and then decided to show up to try and "catch" me in the act of dating another girl. This theory has actually been confirmed by my mom and sisters, so it has some steam right now.

Aaaaaaaaaanyway, the tow truck didn't come until after 1am. I didn't get home until about 2am and then, to top it all off, I had to be in at work by 6:45am yesterday morning, which meant getting up around 5am. So, three hours of sleep made yesterday suck ass.

Oh well, it's almost Friday and its less than 3 weeks until I'm making it rain at the OG. And I get the feeling that once you OG virgins see how much they beg you to touch them and how aggressively the grab your dick, you'll be making it rain much harder than this seasoned vet. Just let me pick my girl for the night (after test driving a few in the beginning, I usually settle for my favorite and get her to dance for like 5 songs and then only pay her like $60 for it, instead of the $100 that it should cost). Works every time.

Seacrest, Out. Details of the new job to come later today.

Also, apologize for any punctuation, grammar or spelling errors in this. I failed to reread it.

heaves, the best way to kill the buddah is by coupling cardio with situps/crunches. if you just do the latter you'll get nice muscles.... hidden under a layer of fat. you need to burn the fat off to reveal the rippling six pack of manliness hidden beneath.

my routine involves about 200 inverted situps a day, 30 weighted side crunches, and an aggressive clue-stretching session. but because you're just starting out, try to get 4 sets of 25 a day with some cardio thrown in to combat the fat. also, try to eat 5 small meals rather than 3 big meals a day. this helps to keep your metabolism going, thereby making it easier for you to burn calories. soon, if you try hard, you may look half as good as me.

lukey mentioning the ambidexterousness of oden reminded me of the fact that I had been calling Mcroberts of my beloved Dukies overrated and worthless, however, after watching him more this season I think he will actually be a decent NBA player. (No superstar potential but I think he could be a good asset for someone) He is great on the defensive end and the fact that he too is ambidexterous (I think even more so than oden) I think with his size, athleticism, and use of both hands he'll be able to be a post threat in the NBA. and given that no one knows how to post up anymore at the next level this is a huge plus. I see him as a david lee but with more size and better defense and the fact that Im high on David Lee is making me come back around on Mcroberts.

As for Oden, I would still take Durant, but the thing is is that Oden is swarmed by 3 people every time he touches the ball. And its not a gradual swarm. Pretty much once that entry pass goes up they start running at him. Its like what yao faces without mcgrady in the game and what shaq used to see without kobe. Actually in college they are willing to leave you and double down even harder since youre not spaced as much as the NBA due to the fact the 3 pt line in college is a joke. Lets say they put a rule in place saying you can double but not triple Oden and you can only do it a reasonable amount of times. What kind of numbers would he be putting up then? See Durant you cant really double and triple like Oden cuz he plays like a guard. Oden can still score on anyone in college and most guys hed be matched up with in the NBA. Considering hell see substantially more one on one opportunities in the NBA and will just continue to get mauled in college we may not be able to see the "true" Oden until he makes the leap. That hand injury on his primary hand isnt helping things either.

I am SO ready for March Madness .... and ...........................

I thought it was pretty funny that upper-decking is prohibited.

heaves, i don't want to hear you bitching about having to do extra work due to february sucking. you get paid more than most african nation's gdp. suck it up.

is their any funnier legal phrase than someone "withdrawing their subpoena?" i didn't think so.

Finally 2.28, the bain of my current existence. Imagine everything in the patent realm operating on a month or 30 day time table. Now imagine 3 common monthly days not existing. Ah yes, cramming 4 days of work into 1 is a great time. I will fall short of the task. No doubt.

21 - W (3 WEEK WARNING)
22 - Th

thank science today is the last day of february. good riddance to a rubbish month.

so during half of the vols/florida game i was flipping through the channels when i happened upon a new fox show that asks are you smarter than a 5th grader. pretty much they ask you questions ranging from 1-5th grade on various topics and afford you the assistance of actual 5th graders should you not know the answer. you'd think it would be easy to win given the nature of the questions, not to mention you get help, but fox must screen out anyone with even the slightest smidgen of intelligence because the morons on the show yesterday failed miserably. as a nice final touch after you lose you are forced to look right at the video camera and say, "i'm not smarter than a 5th grader." this is what our country has come to.

basketball games last night were entertaining. michi (cheating sons of bitches) upset msu in a decent game. the big dog was the vols/florida game which not only was very entertaining, also included pat summit in a cheerleader outfit. yup, it was as disgusting as you'd think it would be. oh well, the conference tournies are upon us, with the madness lying in wait right around the corner. cluetastic.

i got a parking ticket for parking in one of the few spots in town not covered in snow. i will not be paying this ticket. i love working for a judge. suck it gburg!

in footie news, robbie fowler, former liverpool great, now just liverpool player, may be coming across the sea to play in mls for the new england revolution. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=411405&cc=5739

huge game this weekend between man u and the 'pool at anfield. i'm sure jono will be sitting on the edge of his seat chomping his nails. game kicks off at 7 our time.

that's all for the next 15 minutes.

Lukey, jeans are fine. Just dress them up a little bit. I find the best way to do this is with a Victoria's Secret model.

All this Vegas talk has stricken me with a permanent erection. I love it.

First off, I gotta tag along on the whole craps thing, as I am CLUELESS when it comes to playing.

Secondly, Hafer - REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR ID WHEN YOU COME TO VEGAS, PLEASE.

You forgot one more statistic:
Number of girls Joo will seduce, and by seduce, I mean make them vomit and scream "God, get the fuck away from me!": 120 (40 / day)

In response to Hafer's post about the cute college girls:

Those girls are only one thing: Objects of sex. I treat use them not unlike a tissue: I would use them until there was nothing clean left to use, then I would discard it in the trash so that I might grab another.

I just salivated on my very important legal documents.

As for the meat hut, I am probably going to a work happy hour Friday which will undoubtedly carry into the wee morn. Saturday my parents are coming down at some point and I must eat dinner with them. My mom has always loved dearest steven though so maybe they would like to join in the meat festivities. If that's not the case, then any recommendations on where to take them?

Kickball. Yes, I'm working on that this week and trying to find the best locale, squad with vaginas and best after bar. I know of 3 teams thus far giving me and a guy from work offers. 1 team is in adams morgan which would be the best except for locale. the other two are monument teams which may be better for locale but not sure about the other 2 aspects. I must do more research. It's a coin toss at this point. I shall keep you informed.

as for oden, i was not the only one to say he hasn't improved as much as was expected. i agreed because he is prone to disappear for large stretches against quality opponents and sometimes fails to assert himself to dominate his competition (almost all of which can't hold a candle to him). yes, he's been forced to use his off hand which will pay off big time at the next level, but he's still not as far along as many thought he'd be, broken hand aside.

First, Jono congrats on the big move.

Hafer - your statement that Oden has not developed this year is ludicrous. Next season, wherever he is playing, he will be ambidextrous - huge asset. He shoots almost 70% on foul shots with his left hand.

Heaves - you doing kickball this spring, b/c i would be interested?

Tony - i got a gift certificate to fogo de chao for my bday, any recommendations? i'm assuming that i can wear jeans. heaves, i think i'm going sometime this weekend if you are interested.

I absolutely cannot wait for Vegas - i should have booked a flight for monday rather than wednesday.

As far as I know, it's myself, Lukey, Vic, Poyser and Tony.

I believe Heaves like to hit on 16 year old girls. Or boys.

Although making little sense, I agree with your rant Hafer. I will undoubtedly beat my kids into being as awesome as me. None of that coddling bull shit.

4) jono
5) joe?
6) lukey?

the above is a complete guess.

Who is part of the Wednesday crew? I believe I'll be the first to arrive on Thursday.

Do we know yet how much I/we owe Chin for the rooms? I want to start getting some of the cash needed together. An estimate is fine.

Durant is #1.

Chin, the first round is money you say? I believe it. I assume you still plan on doing some betting to take advantage. I like this and want more info when the time grows near.

I love hitting on 16...and 16 year olds.

I have a turtle in my office.

i've never been a big proponent of the "everyone wins, everyone is special" movement that seems to have established itself in the younger generation. it's pussy shit like that which lead to the downfall of dodgeball, a true american exercise in darwinism. i want the cream to rise to the top, i want the exceptional students to excel and be rewarded for being awesome. i despise the thought of trying to force everyone to be the same.

ps, the above is a rant and makes little sense. oh well.

so, the board has seemed to slow down a bit from the morning flurry of activity.

so a combine update specifically focused toward psu players is in order. yesterday, timmy shaw made himself a lot of money by posting some really impressive numbers. he'll probably land in the 3rd round, up from sometime in the second day. poz is securing himself somewhere in the top 20, while levi brown is top 10 material. hunt is still looking to fall somewhere in the 2nd round to some very lucky team. all in all, the commentators have been gushing over the psu players, saying how they do it all, how well they're trained, blah blah blah. hooray for psu.

i have vowed never to play bj again unless i'm at a table with people who know how to play the game. every time i go out there i somehow find myself next to the twat who hits no matter how awful their odds are when the dealer is laying "16." but tony is pretty much right, you just need to ride out a crap run until you get streaky. the problem for me has been not being able to survive long enough due to the rich dumbasses around me. it's not a big deal though. me quitting bj has forced me to learn craps, a much better game in my opinion.

Stop reading into the "Hafer's type" comment. It was just my thought when I first peeped the chick.

Vic, I'm in for brackets and the fantasy league. Thanks for running it, too. Also, I love you and cannot wait to see you. In no way was that not 100% a true statement.

Hafer, sorry for not letting you in on the AAC iPod stuff sooner. I assumed it was standard practice so I didn't think twice about it. I had been doing it since Day 1.

This post was infinitely more amusing the 1st time I posted it and it didn't go through and got deleted. Fucking hate that.

durant is the #1, no question. oden hasn't done anything to get better this year and really could use more time to polish his game. sometimes i really wished the nba had a 2 year and not a 1 year rule, solely because i love college basketball much more than the nba. as far as i'm concerned, the nba could fold tomorrow and i wouldn't care.

i'm in for the brackets.
