let me begin by saying, poor butts. but that's what he gets for bombing pearl harbor. go usa.

so it's friday and that brings a smile to my face. this morning when i rolled out for work i had a very weird experience. now, biglerville isn't a big town by any means, but i always see people driving around on their way to work in the morning. i mean, it's still a semi-populated area after all. well this morning i hop in the car, pull up to the street and for once see nothing, so i pull out and proceed to the red light (yes, biglerville DOES have red lights... 2 in fact). i wait at the red light and see no cars. the light changes and i turn onto biglerville road and proceed out of town. i see no one, absolutely no sign of life anywhere through town. no cars, no kids walking to school, not one mexican making his way to the fields/taco bell. this complete absence of outside life continues for about 4 miles, where i finally see a car coming toward me... driven by zombies. nothing big, but it was a surreal experience.

hooray, phil did not see his shadow, meaning an early spring is on the way. i remember (for some reason) the last time this occurred, i was in elementary school and we were making seasonal montages based on what the groundhog said. the teacher, after hearing the news, went on a rant about how phil never says spring will come early. we then proceeded to craft breathtaking floral kidcraft. the end. the moral of the story, phil hates the spring almost as much as joo hates the (insert ethnic group here).

this weekend will surely be insane... not for me, but for heaves. my weekend consists of a fun drive to selinsgrove tonight to pick up a suit, possibly with a taco bell run thrown in for good measure. saturday i'm heading up to harrisburg to hang out with wiegy and tear through another one of her friends. should be a blast. sunday, i am making chili and watching the game on my couch. hooray.
