If Hafer REALLY suggested that, well then, that's about the gayest thing on this board for 2007. I mean, even when I lived alone, I always had at least 2 controllers. Simply because, in the event that you have a visitor willing to play, you're ready.

I do believe you can rent controllers via some stores, so yo umay want to check into that before abandoning the idea of visiting Hafer all together.

If I can say anything about my work environment it's that the guys who made Office Space and Dilbert are pretty dead on on a bunch of things. Take away the absurd things and they've got my office life nailed down rather justly. I often think I should write a book about it, to capitalize on the popularity of "The Office" but I'm not sure if I could get the resources and time to actually write the book. I know in my 3 years in this office and my 1 year in Carlisle, I have enough to fill a book that would be pretty funny.

For example, that one MySpace blog post from last year about my corworker was absolutely not made up or exaggerated in any sense. And that was only, like, 5 people. I could go on for pages and pages. Actually, the more I talk about this, the more I think I might talk to B and see if she could help me pitch it. You think I could get a deal with maybe a $50K advancement?

Whatever.

Joe, explain the Josh Duhamel (I assume that's who you're referring to) comment, please.

Quick music stuff (seriously):
- The Rakes album that I mentioned a month or so ago is supreme. If you like the Strokes, go for this at all costs.
- Although they've been around for a while, I've recently discovered The Vines and they are fantastic. They have 3 albums out (one from 2006 I believe) and they are worth a listen.
- Also, Cold War Kids are a unique noise that you guys may hate, but it's worth checking out. If you took my advice and got The Hold Steady album I mentioned before and liked that, even more reason to snag Cold War Kids.
- Just downloaded the Mellon Collie & the Infinite Sadness, Smashing Pumpkins album and I forgot how good that was. Too many slow songs to warrant it a great double album, but there are some great, GREAT songs on there.

The world is a vampire...
