 Lindsay is Media Coordinator for an advertising company in Akron. In a nutshell, she buys and sells ad space for clients of her company's parent company. The parent company signs advertising contracts for things like John Deere, Apple, Sea-Doo, Revlon, etc. and then gives those clients to one of it's subsidiary companies. So, she gets on a client's account (currently doing John Deere and HSBC (a new bank)), finds out what they want and where they want it, and then she negotiates with people from the various mediums (TV, radio, newspaper, online, etc.) in her territory (example, she has John Deere for pretty much the entire Northeast) and tries to maximize the ad space for the price that the client wants to spend.

It sounds cool and might be a small step above "generic silly girl job."
