Author: Carrie [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 08/24/06 10:45am I just heard the most shocking and blantantly racist ad on KAST that I have heard in the last decade! I am truly shocked. It mocks the American Indian and I haven't any idea what point they were even trying to make. Some sort of parlay with Chief Silver Hair, who speaks with a Hollywood Indian voice of "How" and "wampum" and "they" (whoever the chief represents) have hostages that they will release three at a time after the audience "bends over, drops their pants, and grabs their ankles"! Insulting our own cultures to make what point? Why do we always have to insult anyone to make a point? Why do I even try to listen to KAST? I'd love to know why they ran this ad, it led into Rush Limbaugh so maybe that in itself is the answer. What a blight on "excellence".
