Thank you to everyone who has always supported me.. Please know that I keep all your blessing in mind and cheers in mind when I am up on stage all the time. My people that have always supported me I thank you and love you from the bottom of my heart. I will never take nothing for granted I never think that I am better than anyone else all of our girls that we have competing in pageant are incredible girls... My day will come but for now I thank you all for always believing in me. My day will come and when it will I will be greatful and very happy But I know God has something in mind for me later in life. To all my students from Missy's i love you all your love means the world to me. I will always love you all you all are my little sisters. Once again I thank you all I do not think I will give up , I will keep trying and giving it my all. God Bless everyone and thank you once again.

Your a beautiful girl, I was honored to be part of this pageant with girls like your self. Thank you for being you all a long the pageant. Hope to see you or talk to you when you come down to the valley. (visit me at work, ask Geles where).

To everyone else that has been posting this wonderful messages that have really touched me I have never been talk about in this forum till now but am glad that it is good. But I wanted to thank you all for all your comments there are blessing honest. I know I did not win but in my heart I know I won something more than a title and a crown and that is the respect and the love from you all. which is much more important to me than a title. Some day will be my day when I will win , and I promise everyone that I will not let you all down. I am very shocked but I respect and I am okay with the judges decisions. The judges were asked to pick someone that in their opinion was a great representative to be Miss Texas Belleza LAtina and I know Liz will do that . I will continue how I had said continue trying as long as my sponsors can bear with me. Thank you and God Bless everyone.

I would have thought that the judges would have gone for a girl with a little more intelligence and ambition, while I'm not bashing Miss Mcallen (she's really a pretty girl) I happen to know that Corpus and Dallas are college graduates while Austin Hidalgo and Grecia are all pursuing higher education. I thought for sure they were going to make up the top five with their excellent backgrounds and impeccable answers. Maybe I'm mistaken in my assumption but I always thought pageants were supposed to be about more than looks.

I agree. Grecia won that night in the eyes of many. There was alot of talk from where I was sittig as well. I had never seen that happen before with Belleza Latina. It was clear who the winner was. But, oh well, it is always the judges opinion that counts. I agree 100% in the Teen Division. In the Miss, Grecia surely earned alot of respect from pageant fans. Sure hope the judges see her caliber next time. To Grecia: Winston Churchill once said, "Never, ever, ever give up"

It was either the auditor that calculated it all wrong or done on purpose. We all saw it with our own eyes!

Some of us know the disappointing feeling of being so close yet so far away from the crown. It can be an overwhelming feeling that makes some want to never enter another pageant again. It makes other strive further into themselves to get the crown the next time.

I posted on here because I saw way back from table BFE the sparkle dull in Grecia's eyes when the top five were called out adn she was excluded. Never ever speaking to Grecia before in my life, I immediately went to her after the pageant to try to relieve her of that disappointment she must have initially felt.

One of my best friends had an experience like that and it traumatized her for years. That is the last thing I ever want any of you to endure.

This is why I feel it is extremely important to tell people that they did an exceptional job and should be proud of themselves. I don't say that to the undeserving. If I compliment you, then you should know it comes from my heart because I don't do it often... nor often enough.

Grecia, you've been such an amazing support to our girls at Missy's and you've been such a great coach for my daughter and her pursuits, as well! I appreciate you because you understand that there's something great waiting for you. I saw you shine the other night, and we'll always be there to cheer you on (trust me, the old college cheerleader in me has a big voice!!)!! You embody class and the ability to walk away with your head held high for knowing you did your best. Bravo girlfriend!! I know there are some girls who had wonderful accomplishments that evening and I don't want to make their successes to be un-noticed. I am very sorry again for whoever myself or my mother made feel unconfortable at the Miss South Texas Pageant those where not my intentions what so ever. I always love helping girls as much as I can with whatever they need. As does my mom she was helping some girls in the back that needed help with their hair. But I am honestly concirn who this is if you like please e mail me just let me know I will personally honestly apoligize. If I ever make anyone ever feel bad please let me know with all my heart am saying this those are not my intentions. I am always here for you all girls. I am happy and honored to be part of this community with girls such as everyone in this forum that we queens try our best to be great role models in our communities. It was not Grecia's fault that she had preferential treatment and her mom allowed backstage. The diretors need to be careful because others may feel uncomfortable or less appreciated as a contestant. The director allowed her to get involved behind the scene to utilize her dance and choreogray talent. Every contestant pays the same amount of money to participate and should be treated equally. I'm sure It was not the director's intention, but perhaps just some appreciation towards Grecia for assisting with the dance. However, some parents did express the desire to be back there and were not allowed so yes it does look bad, but not for Grecia rather for the Production that allowed it as stated in other posts by other concerned parents. And Grecia, I don't think you owe anyone an apology. You have done nothing wrong. You were given permission to have your mom backstage and that is not your fault.

Again I am sorry, my mother has been with me backstage in every pageant with me, I am now going to be thinking about it twice, but I cannot afford to pay someone to be helping me backstage with hair and make up. I did ask and she even bought a ticket so I am sorry again for making anyone feel bad or not comfortable backstage. Thank you for the person that is saying something for me, but I am sorry these were not my intentions and I would like for my mom who is innocent if she can not be spoken of her anymore .. PLEASE . I ask with all respect to everyone and their parents.

So, that was a little fishy. If they were suprised of the girls that were picked then maybe there was something wrong with the calcuations or something else.
