I extend a sincere apology to all in the Irish Dance Community that have been frustrated with the FeisWorx website this weekend.

Winterfeis registration will reopen sometime on Monday afternoon. You will be able to register, but not pay online. This is intended to limit the database server load. Once registration is capped, those who are registered will be allowed to pay online or mail in a payment. If you registered over the weekend, your mailed payment must be postmarked by October 31. If you register today, your payment must be postmarked by November 1. You do not need to overnight your entry - we go strictly by postmark. Do not waste money on overnight mail. If your payment is not postmarked in time, it will be returned to you. If you mail a payment, please make the check payable to Wisconsin Winterfeis. It may be mailed to:

You are not registered after the weekend if you are not shown in the list on the feis website (<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.casheldennehy.net/winterfeis).">http://www.casheldennehy.net/winterfeis).</a> Having registered for no competitions may result in a registration confirmation that shows that you only owe a $12 Event fee. This is an indication that you are not registered. The minimum possible fee to be shown on a registration confrimation is $19.50 (one competition at $7.50 plus the $12 event fee).

Some of you paid online already and your entry showed as not paid after doing so. Your payment was not lost - it was disconnected from your registration record due to the database overload. I have reviewed all payment logs for this weekend and connected all of the payments to the dancers. In some cases, a family may not have been set up properly in our system. This could result in an overcharge. I am still still reviewing these. Some have already been refunded, but I have a few more to get to. This number is actually quite small so I appreciate that folks took care to set up their dancers properly on our website.
