He put the helmet away and slid off the bike. As he walked to the front door he realized he was more nervous now than he was waiting for his intended to walk down the aisle. Was that a good or a bad thing? He stared at the door. Did he knock or use his key? She knew he was there. Before he could decide the door swung open and there she was. Ut oh. That was not a "happy to see me" look. "What was I thinking?" he thought. "Maybe I shouldn't have come." he thought outloud. She replied, "Well it's a little too late for that now." She ushered him in closing the door behind him. What were her neighbors doing? Were they calling the media right this second? With a frown on her face she said

Keith paused and tilted his head like a confused dog and looked to kennedy for answers. "He's your replacement," she bragged wrapping her arms around the strange man as best she could. "You moved on and so did I. What did you think that I was gonna do? Sit around here, waiting for you to fall in love with me...waiting for you to finally figure it all out?! I don't need you now, Keith! You hear me? I don't need you anymore!" Keith took his hands out of his pockets and walked toward the door...
