Well, we have good news!!! It's been reported this week that Keith will be performing at the ACM's on Monday the 23rd. "No freakin way!!!!!!" Guinevere McFadden yelled at her boss, Jack. "Come on Gwen, I really need you to do this, plus the moneys awsome!" he begged her. "I dont care, what does being some country music pretty boy's personal assistant have to do with psycology and art therapy anyway? I didnt work my ass off to follow around that playboy and his blonde waif, coming to their bekon call..." she retorted back to him. "They're not together anymore, thats why they called me. Anyone can be a PA Gwenie, but hes having a rough time of it, and his people thought sending someone out who knows what they hell they are talking about might help him. Please Gwen, for me?" "How long? And when would I leave?" "Well you would leave tomarrow night, he's starting his tour here in Nashville so after the show they are headed out and you would be with them for about 10 weeks..." "10 weeks are you insane?!?!?!?!" "I know its a long time Gwen but this is good work for you, you'll get paid well and you'll get some good one on one experience." he was almost to the point of getting on his knees by now. She let out a frustrated sigh and looked at him. "Fine I'll go but you owe me big time..." "You will? Oh my god I love you! Yea yea I know, you'll get your thanks!"

She left her office and went home to pack, Jack had gived her a list of everything she would need, the tour schedual, all the itineraries, and anyother details she would want to know. "What the hell do I pack for 10 weeks?" she asked herself outloud. She started piling clothes into her suitcase, well at least it was a summer tour so that made for an easy wardrobe. She packed up her shoes and threw in a couple of nice dresses and bathing suits, just in case. She would be attending the show tomarrow night and then leaving with Keith and the gang on the bus. After everything was finished she doubled checked everything and went to bed, tomarrow was going to be a very long day.

Lets see my world is crashing down around me um problem # 1 I made and idiot out of myself infront of the guy I was gonna try to get to go out with me today, but thats a really long story. Um problem # 2, that same guy and like 4 others in the band I was supposed to be singing in this Sunday just bailed out on me to go sing at that one guys church but I have to be the entertainer at our church so I'm leading a freaking band with one days notice, 1 guitarist, 3 female singers and absolutly nothing else. Oh might I add there will be about 40 people there and this is the first time I've sang in public. Ummmm problem # 3 well all the plans that I had for this week just flew out the window cause they all were based around this stupid gig. Well I'm gonna go cry/mourn so just send those hugs in my direction please.

Sorry I've been invisible lately. I've been home for a week, but there's no excuse for not checking in with you all. I see you had a party in my absence and that's outstanding! I'm sorry I missed it, but hey, it's the weekend, we can always crank it up again tonight!

Keith "visited" me twice on my trip. First, the day we left and we're driving along around the DC Beltway, my husband asks me, "Keith Urban isn't playing anywhere in Delaware while were there, is he?" LOL Worry wort! I assured him that he's in the studio recording and also bopping around NYC with you-know-who so he's a bit busy.

Secondly, after three days with my parents (it's always a bit of culture shock), our family hopped in the car to do some sightseeing and I put Golden Road in the player. I hadn't asked to listen to Keith the whole trip up to that point, but I said to my hubby, "I really need this today." It made me smile even more to hear him singing along to quite a few songs. After that, the trip kept getting better. Well, except for getting the van stuck in the sand down at the beach, but that's another story.

Videos that were never made

Keith has so many great songs that were never released as singles so they don't have videos. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to "produce" a video for a song that doesn't have one. Describe what you'd like to see, the mood, the setting, Keith's outfit, is it a story video or a concert video or a combo, what? Elaborate as much as you can, describing what you "see" based on the lyrics, etc. And feel free to do more than one, and create a different scenario than someone else for the same song.

Or, if you choose, you can suggest changes for videos already made. Inserting yourself into RoS does NOT count. LOL I'll be back later to tell you all about mine.

- I really don't think he looked uncomfortable or unhappy, but maybe a bit disinterested in being there - at least early on. I think maybe his mind was "elsewhere" - there are pics of him chatting on his cell before the show started. Wonder to whom? But by the time he performed, he seemed geared up and having a good time.
