I did get some glimpses of Keith and Nicole all cozied up at the Oscars. Dang, he did look good, ya'll! Really, really good! Did I miss something? Did we watch the same show? I didn't see them act "cozy" at all. In fact I've been cozier with strangers than the two of them were. I gotta disagree with ya bird, sorry. His seemingly good choice is probably just that, "seemingly". At least with Courtney, Pam or Kenny he knew what he might be getting into. And at least they all look like they could show him a good time.

When I first saw her walk out to present the first award - saw that dress - the first thing I thought about was "Oh, my gosh, when he first saw her in that dress, Keith probably melted into a puddle of Jell-O with only a pair of baby-blues buggin' out of it." LOL She looked gorgeous, glamorous and shone brighter than Oscar himself! What a way to start the evening!
Can you imagine their whispered conversations during the show?
Keith: "C'mon, let's get out of here so I can get you out of that dress."
Nic: "Not on your life, buster. I paid $XX,XXX.00 for this thing and I'm not taking it off until the last minute."

Heck, I would have been hitting on her...LOL! She did look great. And although I've heard the word classy till I'm sick of it, well, she did look just that, classy. I mean, with her figure, she could have worn anything or nothing and looked great but she chose to wear something, here's that word again, classy...And, was it just me, or does anyone else think that maybe in her mind, allbeit at the back of her mind, she was thinking "I've just got to win over those crazy, Keith-obsessed women that call themselves his fans!"? LOL! We all know how critical and mean some of us women can be when in the presence of a beautiful woman who just happens to have something we ain't got...

"Classy" here could also be rendered "classic", "sophisticated", or "eat-your-heart-out-Felicity-Huffman".
I kind of wished she had done a little domething dramatic with her hair - not a wild updo, but a loose, looping twist or something equally as stunning as her dress.
I'm sure there's probably a little twinge of "nanner-nanner-boo-boo" in her mind toward us - she's been to the concerts, she's seen the commotion that's made over her man. But on the other hand, there's got to be a little bit of the same in the back of Keith's mind in relation to "Short Stuff" and "Kravitz" and the others. I mean, consider who Keith won her FROM: multiple-OSCAR- and GRAMMY-winners who, when they first heard about him said, "Keith who?" Now who's got the last laugh. In essence, Keith being with her at the Oscars - on her turf, amid her crowd - was like the BoSox winning the series at St. Louis. The underdog riding into town carrying away the spoils (on a Harley and wearing a do-rag, but the winner nonetheless).
Oh, look, there I go again, romaticizing Keith! LOL But seriously, while there may be some of that stuff going on in the back of their minds, they're probably more concerned with when and how they can be together again, syncing their schedules, wishing for more time alone, and all that other good stuff that comes from the early flushes of love. Makes me very happy to think of Keith going thru all that mushy stuff!

She is one of the few women I can think of who could wear gold earrings and have them *not* be a contrasting color. LOL! She has very pale skin. I think they call that "alabaster." The dress was lovely, and Nicole was lovely. It's just a good thing she was standing on a red carpet.
