I strummed a few notes on my guitar and growled in frustration. I had been working on a song for weeks now and just when I thought I had gotten the tune right, I couldn't find the right note. Tag and I were sitting a little ways off from an unoccupied trail at the state park. I always came here to work on my songwriting, but this was the first time I had brought Tag along.

"You Know maybe the reason I can't finnish this thing is because your bad luck," I said smiling at him.

I bit my yellow guitar pick trying to think of something, anything that might sound good.

Then I heard the most beautiful tune drifting through the trees. It was someone singing. I started picking out the notes on the guitar. I looked up to see a tall man walking alone on the path. He spotted me and strolled over. His eyes were the color blue that I used to die easter eggs. I smiled and held out my hand. He took it and introduce himself eventhough I already knew who he was.

Tag got up and made himself at home with Keith, laying beside him a deserting me. Keith and I talked for a while, his voice was amazing, nowonder people enjoyed hearing it over microphone so much. I told him I was working on writing my first single. He seemed happy to hear this and he helped my with the tune a bit adding a lot of riffs that I doubted I could play. After spending ten minutes with him my heart had drifted off to heaven like a kite caught by the wind.

A few months later I woke up to someone turning on the radio beside my bed. I heard that familiar riff and opened my eyes. Keith was standing over me already dressed. He gave me a kiss. Congrats, he said. I suppose it was because it was my first song that made it radio. Its amazing how music can bring two people together like nothing else. To this day Keith keeps reminding me that music is the saver of lives. If it wasn't for that day in the park we wouldn't have met, and our lives wouldn't have been as great as they are now. So I'd like to thank the music, for making me and Keith happy together, and for saving my life.
