Subject: Keith Urban makes good on his promises....

In case you hadn't heard, Keith made a handshake promise in 2001 and will be making good on it this Friday in Wilkesboro, NC. When he bought a "mint-condition" 1994 Chevy Impala from a "classic car" dealer with his first royalty check from "But For the Grace of God", he promised the dealer he'd come back and do a concert at the dealership. This Friday, the 24th, he will make good on that promise.

Now, let's say we all find ourselves at this special event (along with every Urbanite from here to Moscow), and the "seats" for the show are in the classic cars, lined up facing a stage just like at a drive-in theater. WHICH classic car would you choose, and why???

I'd choose a 1966 or 1967 Mustang (candy apple red, black soft-top) because Keith really knows how to turn my wild horses loose!

And whether he surfs or not, we could certainly have some "Fun, Fun, Fun." Besides that, your know what say about a Woodie. LOL! -- Mo - oo - ooh, 21:52:11 02/18/06 Sat [1]

[> I'd pick a little red '72 MGB roadster. Soft top of course! I think I'd look great in that car! Of course there's no backseat for Keith and I but I'm sure we'd figure something out?! -- AussieChick, 01:46:56 02/19/06 Sun [1]
