Well said, Charlie! Nobody ever put a gun to my head or yours and said "pay for radio or else". The choice was ours and we accepted it as did millions of other XM and Sirius subscribers.

CBS-FM will not be my first choice, but I'll stop in occaisionally. I've got what I want from Sirius and will remain there for the forseeable future. I also get a number of XM channels for free on AOL Radio, including 50s on 5 and 60s on 6. As far as I'm concerned, I have lots of choices and I like that.

All debate aside, I hope CBS-FM succeeds. Losing the station for two years was a deep, emotional wound to so many people. For those unwilling or unable to pay for satellite radio, they now have a place to go. I'm happy for them. CBS-FM does sound like New York and that's truly its charm.
