In other words, their plan backfired. I agree if they had any sense of "menschlichkeit" they would have given the dj's a chance to say goodbye even if there was just a days notice.

I have to laugh that Joel Hollander used the excuse that the station's ratings crashed after the switch because few of the oldies listeners remained with the station. (Gee, I wonder why?) When the ratings were not picking up after the summer, his new excuse was "we are still cleansing the cume."

I personally wrote to the station and told them that one way to earn back listeners and bring back trust was to issue a massive and very public apology; as good public relations. Obviously my suggestion fell on deaf ears.
