As I have said many times since last June, usually when changes occur in radio, nothing is said in hopes that no one will notice.

In the case of WCBS FM, in my opinion no harm would have been done if the jocks were given the chance to thank the audience for their loyalty to the station.

As was said in a previous post, they should have been given the chance as Dan Ingram and Ron Lundy did in 1982 when WABC changed to talk. Infinity would not have lost money and maybe would have gained a better impression with many than they have now.

As Cousin Brucie said a while ago in an interview, "New Yorkers don't forget."

Believe me the audience that listened to 101.1 still remember as if this happened yesterday.
