I did not say I hold you responsible for the demise of CBS-FM or oldies on the radio but people who think like you. There are still plenty of stations that still play oldies in major markets that I listen to on the internet. CBS-FM made 34 million as an oldies station in their last year. They are making much less with Jack. Last June, infinity dropped oldies in 2 big markets, NY and Chicago. Other stations saw this and out of panic, they dropped oldies as well. In NY their are many wasted stations especially on AM with no ratings at all. I am quite sure they would make more money and get higher ratings with oldies. I am sure you know what stations I am talking about. When I was growing up, NY had that best stations in the country with something for everybody. This is not the case now. I just posted an article that was on the internet that everybody on this board is interested in and was discussed many times. Instead of attacking me, you should send an email to the person at CNBC that wrote the article. I am quite sure more people on this board will agree with the article than disagree with it. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.
